When she got off the recumbent bike, the wet sweat stain around the back of her drawers was something that could never be humanly recreated.
I'd say she has a long road ahead of her.

There was a woman at the gym today with quite literally the biggest bottom I've ever seen on a woman (but good for her etc)

OK, I'll agree with that. I like to laugh at the cardio freaks who run around for hours a day and look like walking cadavers.
And like I said in my first post, weight training is just one part of a lifestyle that includes cardio, stretching and good nutrition. |

Question for the gym rats: What are your preferred foods?
Two months ago, I've increased my daily routine to 70+ minutes, of which 40 minutes is cardio, and 30 minutes is free weights. I found myself more tired by 5 pm, so I increased my sleep by an hour each night. Still, I'm more tired than ever by the time work is over (mostly paperpushing job). I don't want to reduce my routine, so maybe the problem is my fue intactl. Whatcha peeps prefer to eat to keep you alert for 15 hours? |

How old are you? If you're over 25 and not a professional athlete, 70 minutes of exercise a day is insane. I don't think your problem is diet; I think
you are way over-training.
I'd suggest cutting back to no more than 30 minutes a day, alternating cardio and weights on different days. And take a few days off, fer chrissakes! |

I'd do cardio every day but not weights, and try it in the morning instead of at night.

Zzunk, try smaller meals with more protein in them.
You're working out a lot, so you'll need some extra fuel. And the weightlifting means you need protein. Pardon my ignorance, but are you a guy or a girl? |

My workouts are mornings, between 6:30 and 8:30, depending on how fast I'm going that day. Usually 5 days a week. The free weights is simply a break from
the boring cardio -- nothing heavy -- just to maintain strength for a mid-40s guy. I'll try smaller, more protein, but more frequent meals (I think
that's Mountie intended). This will take some adjustment since I'm a light breakfast and average lunch person. Thanks!

Anybody know if this Spirulina is all it's cracked up to be?

Yeah, that's what I meant. Sorry 'bout that. More frequent, smaller meals. That should keep your energy levels at more of a steady rate, rather than
peaks and valley.
I don't think that your workouts sound excessive. And the days off to rest and recover are key. |
