really? TiT that's dumb. i've been on my own since i was 11, raised my kid, put myself through college etc etc etc etc. at 36 i suddently can't
deal with the realities of life? ummmm, ok. if that were the case i think i wouldn't have handled it much much earlier.

My socialite mom started taking them a while ago...she's doing a lot better now.
She was crying crying crying all the time before that. It was really out of character for her. |

See, I have a theory. I don't think depressed people are crazy, and I don't think they 'discern life's realities' any more than your
average person. I think something is happening to the brain chemistry of people. It could be environmental, it could be societal, I dunno. I just know
there's a whole shitload of people who are seriously clinically depressed enough to be taking meds for it.
