I swear to god, everyone I talk to is taking some kind of antidepressant. The current favorite seems to be Lexipro. What the hell is happening? Is everyone in
this country one step away from climbing a bell tower?

hmmm, i'll admit to being on zoloft. i tried tons of other non medication things but when the ocd stepped up a couple of notches coupled with the i guess
you'd call it depression it was either that or kill someone.

i think i've always had a mild case of both depression and ocd. dealt with them fine. add a couple of additional crises (sp?) and the brain went wonky. could deal with one or the other but both? not so much |

Views on pharmaceutical pills are marked by a sharp generation gap. My father found it humiliating that I would have to take anti-depressants, as if I had
suddenly been thrown into the crazy column. I found absolutely nothing wrong with it. By the way, he drinks like a fish because that was what was prescribed by
his generation's social mores.
