Plus the basil grows like a weed in the backyard. No doubt. The only reason we end up making pesto some of the time is to try and use up some of the basil. I have no idea what I would ever do with all those chives and all that mint. |

that some funny shit right there. Are, chives are good as a natural bug repellant. Also, you can dry them or freeze them and put them in your scrambled eggs every sunday. |

Scrambled eggs...chives...and cream cheese (it melts rather quickly and blends nicely) You may need an extra 20 minutes on the stair master...but it IS worth it. |

The chives took over an entire section. If I tried to dry or freeze the amount that little space is producing I would have enough for years. I cut it back
every few weeks and throw them away there is so much. The chives and mint survive the winter and come back stronger every year. I fear for my life.

We have mint planted between the rocks on the paths in the yard so when you walk through it, it smells great.
I think the rioja suggestion might have come from that machine#### dude who hates me. I dont' like the readmill. I do like cuba divin' though. |

I wonder if chives work well in scrambled eggs, cream cheese, or potatoes. Duh.
Chive butter works well on fish. I have also used chives successfully in marinades but there is a limit to how much can be used. |
