The colors are a little pale for my taste, but they do go well together
I'm not getting the painted brick room...is it a sun room? Obviously you don't hang pictures on the outside of your house. A friend of mine stained her worn brick and it turned out gorgeous! |

the painted brick is a sunroom that used to be a carport....the open area around the brick now have louver windows.

Ahhh, okay.
I really think I would have opted for something other than painting the brick. It tends to look so fake when painted. The staining can be really nice if done right...like here Before

The fireplace is 100 kinds of hideous with it's bad insert and ugly mantle shelf...but I think the brick looks better than it did

I'm not big on brick fireplaces no matter the color. I'd get rid of that mantel -- it looks really low and out of place.

We have a hideous wall o' brick in the fireplace room. I think we are going to paint it until I can afford to rip it out or cover it up or whatever you do
when you want something other than brick. I guess I don't have a picture of the wall o' brick, so here is a picture that shows both the revolting
"entertainment center" and the ugly kitchen wallpaper.
