I've been pre-empted TWICE so far. It pisses me off to no end. I saw this and thought aw CRAP!!! not again! But then my husband reminded me that our
preseason game was actually on last night (der - I watched it!)

We don't get pre-empted here, they just show one or the other on the local sister station. Luckily. Only time i've missed eps is due to weather
coverage (which they could easily do on a split screen or a scroll.)

Well, I'm pissed. I'm pre-empted. Grrrr. Going to double check to make sure the local affiliate isn't showing it, but I don't think so because
the channel showing preseason football is running BB at 12:40 a.m. WHY OH WHY
I will say, tho - the meteorologist shit is worse than pre-empting. You just want to smack those mutherfuckers. Of course you want people to be safe, but they stay on the air and just say the same shit over and over and over for an hour straight. |

We have the same issue with our meteorologist on CBS. He loves when we have any sign of a big storm! He always tells people to send in pictures and all that
crap during his pre-empting. Meanwhile I am screaming at him to go away and let me watch Survivor or Big Brother! I hate having to watch BB on the comp but we
are lucky we have someone streaming it for us!

Ok, we have NFL on NBC and CBS tomorrow. What the fuck? Some of us don't like to watch football and want to watch somthing else. Tomorow I can choose
between the moment of truth or abc reruns. That's crap. My DVD's better get here.

See, this is what I think... the mutha fuckas that are watching the weather on Tv should be made to watch the live stream on the computer.
Know what I mean? After all they are more than likely up in their living room in the lazy boy watching it anyway, not in the "safe place" they just may need to be in the case of a tornado or what have you. WHY should we have to interrupt our viewing schedule?? I mean it's a limited season as it is? Then to have to contend with football as well? I say send the damn weather freaks to the computer and let us have the Tv in the case of weather. I just know that shit won't fly with football so I'm not going to go there, I about get killed on the regular talking shit about the Bungles as it is. hehehe |
