National Enquirer reports Edwards has been paying $15,000 a month in hush money to his mistress. Which of the two Americas does she belong to now?

![]() John Edwards Admits to Sexual Affair
By PETE YOST

WASHINGTON (Aug. 8) -- Former Democratic presidential candidate John Edwards on Friday admitted to an extramarital affair while his wife was battling cancer.
He denied fathering the woman's daughter. Edwards told ABC News that he lied repeatedly about the affair with 42-year-old Rielle Hunter but said that he
didn't love her.

Yup, still funny.
So, what's the over/under on how many times he cries during the interview? |

In an interview for broadcast tonight on Nightline, Edwards told ABC News correspondent Bob Woodruff he did have an affair with 44-year old Rielle Hunter, but said that he did not love her. This is soooo going to piss off NBC. Babbling Edwards > 100,000 Chinese people with ribbons |

I am not, nor have I ever been a huge Edwards fan anyway, but I do think it is amusing that the National Enquirer was right all along-every now and then they
get the story right. If I remember right I think they were the ones who broke the Monica affair (if it wasn't Monica it was one of Bill's other lady
loves). Although with the Clintons I always had the sense that Bill was free to stray as long as he was discreet. I never had that sense with the Edwardses.
