It was nice to see Tracy actually use her powers in a smart way. My biggest grip with the show is that they just use their powers so badly.

This weeks graphic novel is about what Elle has been doing since she was fired from The Company.

Uh...considering the actress who played Monica said herself she was written out of the show... |

Btw, I would love to have seen the scene in the prank shop hours later when a kid comes in looking to pick up a couple of cool props for Halloween only to
unwittingly become a murderer at age 10 when he stabs his friend through the midsection with the real sword Hiro left behind.

So we have 3 super-superpowered people now. When does it all stop?
Arthur steals powers. Peter absorbs powers. Sylar kills people to find out how they use their powers. How many more variations on this are we going to get? I have to admit, seeing Adam taken out like a bitch was pretty funny, especially when he was the big bad in the previous season. Will they PLEASE kill Mohinder already? He's evil and stupid. We get it. Now get on with it and make it as painful as possible. Maybe Tracy can freeze parts of him and break him to pieces bit by bit. We would enjoy it. Speaking of Tracy, it's fantastic to see someone who knows how to use their powers with a little intelligence (even relying on Mohinder being so incredibly stupid). She doesn't have the angst (and split personality) Nikki did so she's already better off and ready to start kicking ass at a moment's notice. Daphne is such a great character. Hopefully she survives. It was funny to see her interact with love-struck Matt. And finally, the comic potential of a time manipulator going after a precog is fully realized. The entire sequence was hilarious from start to finish. The writers deserve a little doggie treat for this and the puppetmaster rusian roulette scene. If only they knew how to write everything else without spelling everything out. It was painful watching Sylar and Peter throw endless expostition about their feelings to each other. And we finally find out about the symbol from season 1. About damn time. |

So if Arthur Petrelli was able to use powers that Peter had absorbed previously (was able to do the lightning hands trick), does that mean that Arthur also has
Sylar's power inside of him now? Will it drive him batty the way it drove Peter batty? That could explain how the world gets toasted in the future.
Arthur's hunger for powers makes him give powers to everyone in the world, so he can start brainiating folks and take them for himself. Either he absorbs
too much into himself and is the cause of the destruction, or his desire for new powers makes them experiment with the formula until they give someone a power
that blows the world up.

I'm not sure Sylar still needs to kill people to get their powers. He absorbs powers by understanding them, by searching how it works. He might not need
to kill to get it. Am I wrong?

So Monica was written out of the show? Or is she in the 2nd half?
And Heroes falls once again in the ratings for yesterday's episode. ABC held the overall lead at 9 p.m. with the end of "Dancing with the Stars," 12.7/18, and "Samantha Who?," 7.4/11. "Two and a Half Men" (8.9/13) -- which was also the night's top show in the 18-49 demo -- and "Worst Week" (6.3/9) kept CBS in second. "Heroes," 5.1/7, came in third for NBC. FOX's "Prison Break" improved a little on its lead-in, as did The CW's "One Tree Hill," which scored a 2.2/3. |

Doesn't surprise me. I stopped watching after the 3rd episode when I realized that this show is a complete shitfest. Horrible acting and bad storylines = big disaster. |

platinumtlc wrote:You also fail to mention that Heroes is still kicking everyone collective asses on Mondays in the 18-34 demo, you know, the one that guarantees whether or not shows are going to be cancelled or renewed. I wish they would give it a better lead in though. Chuck is not doing it any favors at 8pm, they should put DOND back in front. |

I'm not defending Heroes numbers as great either, but polls do show that it is essentially the most TiVo'd and DVR'd show on TV... those numbers
play a big factor in the final Nielsen number.
Besides, as I keep saying, unless it drops drastically low, it is still one of NBC's top 5 shows - it's not going anywhere. |

The show won't go anywhere because NBC is horrible and doesn't have any highly rated shows.
Lead-out Heroes perked up to 8.46 million viewers (#3) and a 3.9/ 9 among adults 18-49 (#2) at 9 p.m. But one year earlier, Heroes was considerably stronger at 11.41 million viewers and a 5.2/12 in the demo. It's hardly "kicking ass" in the demo. Is it doing okay in the demo? Yes. Two and a Half Men, DWTS, How I Met Your Mother, Big Bang Theory, and CSI Miami all had demos equal or better than Heroes. Heroes is far from dead, but the ratings show that total viewers (and yes even the younger viewers) are running away in droves. |

Tracy and Nathan should've been thunked across the hand with a flyswatter when they allowed Mohinder to inject them when he was supposed to be drawing
blood. If they'd been paying attention, they would've noticed that he wasn't drawing anything out.
