ROTFL You seem so concerned if I watch this or not. Maybe if you just jerked off to this show as usual instead of waiting anxiously for my every post you would
be a happier camper. And "Tuning out" seems to be what most of America is doing for this show anyway, I figure I'll stick around to see if this
show can save itself.

Anyone else feel bad for Nathan? I can only imagine the Petrelli family fishing trip where Sylar, Peter, and Papa Petrelli are comparing their limitless
powers, while all Nathan can do is fly. Talk about getting the shallow end of the gene pool....

Well it makes sense. Sylar and Peter got their powers "au naturale", while Nathan was given his artificially.I must have missed this. I thought Nathan's were natural while Tracy's were created. How would Nathan be the only one in the entire family tree not to get his powers genetically? That would be weird. ETA: If anyone else had said this about Nathan I wouldn't believe them. Because it was you GrenadeJumper I feel the need to rewatch this season and pay closer attention.

Angela explained that last episode Crowlass. They injected him when he was an infant because he was the only one in the family that didn't develop powers
naturally and Angela said she thought because of his lineage, that his body could handle it.

I completely forgot about that. That is why I always trust your comments GJ. You are our personal Heroes wiki. |

I have a feeling that Peter doesn't have his other powers..but he has gained his dad's sucking power... |

Peter wouldn't keep his first ability. Adam didn't. Granted, psuedo-science could have that the two Petrelli's sucking on one another cross
cancelled mutliplied, whatever, but based on what happened to Adam, Peter will not have his original ability either.

Haven't finished catching up quite yet, but I wanted to toss something out there before I forget. Anyone who says they hate the show because "if they
miss an episode they can't keep up with the storyline" is an idiot. There are far too many ways out there to watch an episode now for that to be
anything but bullshit.

I'm rooting for shirtless Tracy, Elle and Maya to get down to business.
Solid episode, especially driven by Daphne zipping around and getting more and more disheartened with Pinehearst. I highly doubt Peter's been permanently unspecialized but maybe this will give him the reset of his powers so he's not an ultrapowerful screw up. HRG recruiting Meredith is cool if he's building his own fleet to rival the Company and Pinehearst. He's definitely the least evil of the options out there. A pissed off Hiro announcing to Ando that time travel won't work - "Seriously?" "Seriously!" actually had me laughing and enjoying the character. {{{(>.<)}}} |

Just got into this. Watched the first two seasons over the weekend.
Peter <- kill him off. They need to lose a major character, and all Peter does is absorb all the suck in a room and then emit it throughout his storylines. Sylar <- I'm down with keeping him around because I am in love with Zachary Quinto, but the redemption thing needs to be written better. I don't really care when he's all "I must control myself and be better." At least let him be creepily redeeming. That's when he's at his sexiest. Mohinder <- good god murder him and make it brutal. Hiro <- Something needs to be done. I never liked him, but we're like 30 episodes in. He can't be that stupid. I'll take Ando over him any day. Tracy <- she is already a billion times more awesome than Niki, and I'd like to meet Barbara. Stay away from the whole "i'm weak" shiz they were having Tracy do for a split second. That's why Niki sucked. Meredith <- I love Jessalyn Gilsig. More more more! Nathan <- Give him more. More Pasdar on my screen is never a bad thing. Elle <- Bring her back. She was comedic without being fucking stupid as hell like Hiro. Multi dimensional character and Kristen Bell <3. She kept season 2 afloat. Storylines they damn well better resolve well: Claire and Benet. Last episode was so good with them. Thing is this whole my dad is a monster thing has been happening since season 1. They need to expand, make it different. Petrelli family. Sylar's a member, daddy's alive. They better not fuck this up. |

Arthur absorbed all of Peter's powers, too. But, you just know that in a not too distant episode, Peter will be sitting in a park, playing chess by
himself, and as he reaches for one of the chess pieces, it will wobble a bit indicating that his powers are about to return.
Peter's ability of replicating powers evidently was a derivative of his dad's. Although Arthur absorbed the power leaving the "hero" with none, Peter's ability had allowed the other to keep their ability.

^Damn it, I KNOW the movie where that takes place in...
Anyway for right now, Mohinder and/or Peter need to be killed. I'm so sick of them, and Mohinder needs to die in a fire or something, because I'm so sick of him trying to kill everyone. If only Tracy'd have freezed him any longer... Are we safe to say that Maya's dead? I hoped it wouldn't happen, but I think it's time to say it's true. Can I just say that I giggled a little bit when Mama Bennet shot Claire? But then it got awesome when present Claire turned future Claire (at least for me), for a second when she took down that Doyle asshole. This was a really good episode to tell ya the truth. X-MEN 1! |
