I thot it pretty much sucked. The military have cameras everywhere. They've frozen everyone's assets and credit cards. (please tell me how Ando &
Hiro are jet setting all around with no money) Claire's new boy toy looks a lot like a tall Peter. And HRG has become such an unfocused character who
blithely leaves his family in a huge dangerous and vunerable position. And goes to a cheap hotel bar to drown hiis sorrows????
I'm beginning to think HRG IS working with the the heros and is an inside plant for them. His drink was dosed just to make it look authentic to protect his family. If that's not the case then that whole set up is some of the worst writing and plotting I've ever seen on tv. What a tragedy for what started out as a great show. |

The problem with Future Hiro is that the reason he's actually disciplined and serious is because Ando died. So in order for Hiro to grow the fuck up,
they'd pretty much have to kill off Ando, who's one of the very few characters that still makes any god damn sense. Honestly, it'd be better if
Ando actually killed Hiro instead of just using his boosting powers on Hiro in the future (which apparently nobody on the show considered even after seeing
Ando's powers) at this point, but we know the producers would never kill their favorite little "YATTA" pal, so we're stuck with an
eight-year-old dipshit throwing temper tantrums and living with a superiority complex while Ando acts mature and actually gets shit done while babysitting
little Hiro.
This actually makes me miss Hiro in Feudal Japan. At least he wasn't annoying and his actions and behavior made some sense. |

Just watched. A HEAVY Claire and Fathers/Sylar episode so not too much to comment on.
- It is a shame what has happened to the character, because Quinto is actually doing incredible work right now. He has tapped into how the character would be feeling and what he would be looking for. The problem is however that it is just not believable. Sylar's "redemption" was a half assed, poorly written stink fest that does not allow the audience to believe that he could be the person we currently see on screen... also the fact that the half assed, poorly written "redemption" took up so much precious screen time doesn't help matters. I want to like the arc and I actually am finding pieces of it to be not just good but great (the individual portraying Luke is a very good actor), unfortunatley it is just not a feasable situation - and that sucks. - Claire & HRG continue to grow. Claire referencing the fandom with the "I'll do anything to protect you" remark and so on was nicely done. We have finally moved on from the stand still the relationship has been in for the last year and a half, and for me, that is very encouraging. I like HRG having to leave and I really dug the crap out of that ending. Very enjoyable and poignant. - First off, big props to Moira Kelly for coming in and doing a great job within her role. However, this was the first episode of the Volume were Nathan's mission felt more like a chore then a matter of great importance. Next week appears to right that wrong, but the one place where the action needs to be consistent this season is the chase arc. That didn't happen tonight. And for God's sake, can we give Ali Larter some more to do?? - Wasn't as good as last week (which over a week later still is one of my favorite episodes of the series) but set things up just fine. The show isn't going anywhere soon, ratings are actually slightly increasing - if you cannot allow yourself to get back into it, now would probably be the time to bow out. It seems like we have just scratched the surface of this particular road. |

As much shit as I've been saying, I will agree that things were looking a little better this episode, especially with the Noah/Claire relationship finally
going somewhere. I also definitely agree they really fucked up with Sylar's storyline so far, and the Sylar/Luke stuff would be interesting if it
didn't seem so cliche and predictable. It'd be nice if, say, they actually evolved Sylar into a father figure like he was during the first future
episode last volume and he ended up not killing Luke and instead evolved as a character. Unfortunately, since this is Heroes, I predict he gets close to Luke
and then at the end of the season kills him and goes back to being his old self.
I'm just surprised there's so much potential for the characters to evolve beyond their one-note selves. But then that's what I thought last volume. I still have hope, though, so I'll stick it out. |

Well, I learned something interesting while reading my volume two graphic novel. Adam and Claire's magic blood doesn't work on the same person twice.
Adam saved one of his wives from dying of a diease in the comic, then when she got sick again he tried to give her more of his blood and it didn't work. Interesting.... |

And sorry for the double post but I'd thought I'd mention it here. Tonights episode marks the start of the "New Writing Team" for Heroes I
guess.
Tonights episode is the first episode that was written after head writers Jeph Loeb and Jesse Alexander were fired. |

Better than last week, but by not that much I'm afraid. It seemed like more than half of the episode was in black and white and that just kind of annoyed
me. Couldn't they have used some other technique to show the past? I enjoyed the episode more than last week by default since it had no Hiro in it. HURRAY!

Can someone please kill Matt, Mohinder, or Peter(I prefer Mohinder) but anyone of them would do.
Yea lots of Nathan/HRG scenes together. Two of the best actors on the show |

Love the exchanges w/ Matt and Mohinder.
And I love they are letting Matt use his powers more! |

I don't mind Peter, Matt, Mohinder. Just Hiro and Sylar absolutely suck. Although Zachary Quinto is good, Sylar has been written terribly this season.
