Yeah, this was the biggest 'WTF?' moment for me. Glad they finally killed that guy anyway. 2nd biggest was Claire's mom. I can see how it might not occur to them to knock her out, if they HADN'T EXPERIENCED THE EXACT SAME SCENARIO IN SEASON 1. If not drugs, just pop her one, fer crissakes. Another was Sylar overpowering Puppet Man. Uhm, how? I guess it could be rationalized, but seems like a guy that's had his powers for years would be a bit stronger than a relative newcomer. But ah well. That was minor on the list for the season. Total mishmosh of a finale. There's no consistency, no flow. Characters change on a whim, storylines lead nowhere. Here's hoping V4 can redeem the series.

As well as the Pikachu scene. * Angela love. * Meredith . I really think the writers have a lot of thinking to do to explain Meredith's death because she did survive the old fire. It's the building collapsing I bet that kills her. I thought it was an interesting touch that they added Flint saying "I can't be burned" and since his sister is Meredith, then she can't be burned either. * Daphne love. * I don't hate Hiro like you guys so I found him being back to normal state really nice. * Meh upcoming storyline with people being chased down by the Black President. Seems so used. * Ando's power is like just an attached power for others, much like a sidekick lol. But it will probably evolve into like a power that can overadrenalize. * No SYLAR? LIKE YAY!

I did like that their "deaths" were a bit open-ended. It gives me hope that either of them could be brought back. That's how I would have liked Elle to "die".

Even though she kinda outlived her purpose, she was hot, and one of the few women on the show. Can we please stop the vaginacaust on this show and switch it to a penicide? - PLEASE, PLEASE have Sylar completely dead now. I'm so sick of him, and I don't care who his real parents were; some random man and woman, Matt and Daphne, whatever, I don't care. - I'm starting to really dislike Claire, which sucks, because I've always liked her. Of course, it was starting to seem like the Hayden Panettiere show with the whole "exposing Claire as a villain" story arc. - Hiro needs to die. Now. Ando can live; I've always thought having that ability would be pretty cool since it was the opposite of Arthur's ability. Could it potentially give people who normally wouldn't have abilities, latent or not, superpowers? Could Ando be the potential next catalyst? - Speaking of catalyst, you're such a hypocrite, Peter. He's all "OMGZ, I GOTS TO DESTROY THE FORMULA!!!" then he injects himself with it anyway so he can get his formula back? I call shenanigans. - Mohinder must die. How the hell did he survive? Wait...the formula he originally injected was turning him into a giant cockroach, so maybe...Oh fuck, Mohinder's NEVER going to die. - Tracy's okay, but not the best. Ali can play the best ice cold bitch on TV though. - Momma Petrelli <3 - Matt & Daphne <3 - HRG = Who? Honestly, I've forgotten he was a part of the main cast by how underutilized he's been this season. - Volume 4 looks promising, but so did Villains and Generations. Not holding my breath. - Can we start a petition to have the writers have a brand new cast, new storylines, and have the occasional old cast pop in every once in a while? I'm getting so bored with this one that it's making me tune out.

There will be hints that one, if not both, of them is alive. I'm also going out on the limb and say that wasn't Nathan at the end. Perhaps there was another marine that was injected with the formula and was given a shape-shifter or illusion ability and the real Nathan is tied up somewhere. Seriously. Nathan beating Peter with a lead pipe? Not just a slug with his fist, but beating him with a pipe? One thing with TV, the person being beaten like that always gets up and walks without any broken bones. Amazing. I have to admit I am curious as to the future that now isn't the future with a daddy Sylar having a son named Noah, and why he named him Noah. Like Flint, Meredith couldn't die by fire, but she probably could've died from suffocation if she was in a contained room (which she was) and it was engulfed in flames that fed on the oxygen. Doubt the writers thought of that though as they were probably aiming for the building collapse to kill her....possibly kill her. What was up that Matt saw the precog at the end. She's an opportunist, so she'll take any opening that may be beneficial to her agenda. As for Meredith and suffocating, she didn't suffocate when she heated the container back in episode three when she was training Claire. I'm assuming along with her body being adapted to handling fire, her body is also adapted towards situations with low oxygen and high temperatures.

Call me slow, but last night I realized Hayden can't act. Milo - I think he's a decent enough actor, not great but not nearly as bad as everyone says. Dude's face is paralyzed for peter's sake. Where the hell are they getting the energy for this? And don't give me that suspension of disbelief thing -- it's what keeps this show from being about magic, that there IS some kind of scientific explanation for all of it I agree. It doesn't even have to be a good explanation, just a cut above midichlorians and I'll buy it. And there has to be a cost or trade off. And they need to actually verbalize it on the show. Although, for all the things they've neglected to do on "Heroes" I can't help but wonder if it would just seem like a totally different show if they really did flesh out their universe properly. The amount of retcon they'd have to do would be massive and I'm not sure they're up to it. Well, they seemed to be cleaning house and the v.3 finale did do a pretty good job of resetting the show, and at least they kept Daphne alive. Bring on Zeljko!

Back during the flash forward episode in season one, Sylar mentioned that Nathan had betrayed them all long before Sylar killed him and started using Candice's powers to impersonate Nathan.

I just want her to have her OWN storyline in the next volume, rather than being attached to whatever man is trying to take over the world this week. Seriously, the ratings are crashing and burning. Syler is the Spike of the show. Hes supposed to be a bad guy, but hes the most popular character, at least among the general public, which caused them to make him a good guy. Sylers good guy sting didnt last long, but I have a feeling he'll return as a shade of grey type of character.

He's 30 seconds behind Sylar at the end of the last episode and then isn't seen the entire next episode. How convenient! I can only hope that he stopped and asked himself, why the hell am I involving myself with this collection of retards? and then went back to Haiti to become a demi-god warlord in the jungle. eta: why doesn't Flint and Meredith's clothes burn? If they can channel their powers into their clothes, then that suggests they can do it to any inanimate object that they touch like, for example, the building perhaps? Just because you heal doesn't mean you heal perfectly. (A nit, I know, but I'm bored) Why aren't any of their clothes affected? Why don't Tracey's clothes ice up and fall off? (heh heh) Why didn't Flint burn himself nude? Why doesn't Daphne burn off her clothes due to the friction of super speed? For that matter, do physics not affect this planet? Daphne moves at what, the speed of sound? That should have a bit more affect that the constant random paper that flies around. Windows shattering, sonic booms, etc. It should be REALLY loud, too. And I loved Daph's explanaion of how they got their powers. She wanted to run, so she got super speed. By that reasoning, Peter really wanted to be a blank piece of paper, Nathan hates his wife so much he wants to fly away, and Claire has taken her secret desire to cut herself wayyyyy too far. Re: The White Queen -- you're right of course, I forgot he's much older. Bad fanboy moment.

Stuff like "what about her clothes?" doesn't really bother me with this show. There's a certain amount of suspension of disbelief you just have to go with. It's not like they could show naked people all the time even if they wanted to, anyway.
