Ando's power is really quite a useful defensive power. Just super charge the hell out of anyone and their powers go wonky like Merediths.

That would be pretty cool, I think it could work.

Yep, It's Sage. She can kick start anyone's latent mutant abilities

Oh and sorry for the double post, but the title for the first episode of Vol. 4 is "A Clear and Present Danger."

I don't think they need Ando to kickstart Hiro... they can always have Daphne speed back in time to grab a vial of the formula whenever they want.
Still, how does a speedster go back in time? By going faster than the speed of light? Okay, well how do they go forward in time? By going slower or even faster (looping around the beginning of space-time, to the end, and then hurdle to the present from the future?). Stopping time would be one way to go forward in time, but speedsters typically do the opposite. So who's going to revive Sylar? Angela? How many times does she need her head sliced? How did Knox break that guy's neck. I doubt either the soldier or Nathan were exuding fear at the moment. And I guess they confirmed that Hiro had always traveled into the past, like with the Kensei storyline, when he ripped the formula into the halves. It explains why the Catalyst was missing all those years, since it didn't exist after Mama gave it to Hiro and Arthur stole it, bringing it to the future. And Tracy and Nathan's formula is useless without the Catalyst. The Catalyst is gone gone gone. Though... how'd they make the Catalyst in the first place? Someone's ability? And I guess we'll now be seeing Peter go back to collecting powers again. He's got Nathans. He probably got Flint's. Oh well.... here we go again. |

END OF VOLUME THREE
Thank god. What I liked: Sylar was genuinely evil for once. The set up with Noah and Meredith was very well done. Many deadwood characters were offed, but not by the ol' head slice. Hiro punched Tracey. The formula looks like it's done (for now). Nathan going bad -- always thought that was the way to go. What I didn't: Tracey is still randomly connecting to other characters. The writers don't know what to do with her. Andy has powers. And it looks like he has one of those swiss army powers that the writers didn't learn their lessons from with Peter and Sylar. Peter has powers again. See above. Sylar is dead, but not dead. Damn it. It appears that Claire versus Daddy is coming up. Sigh. Mohinder is still alive. As you approach the speed of light, your mass becomes infinite, so I seriously doubt that Daphne "ran to the past" without turning into something truly horrible. That was a pretty weak excuse for rescuing Hiro. I'd have much preferred he stayed in the past, hidden for 16 years, and then revealed himself as Future Hiro, complete with sword.

Here is my end of the fall season thoughts. Sorry wont be as funny as Nightcrawler rants
The main concept this season was good but not executed well at all. I've been looking forward to Arthur Petrelli since the first season. The writing was atrocious and basically ruined every character. Hiro- I was tired of his shit since last season. But he was tolerable. This season he was a complete waste of space. He was not amusing at all and he took up to much time. I hate him and wish they would do us all a favor and kill him off WAFFLES YATTA!! GET THE FUCK OUT Ando- He can stay. I always liked him more then Hiro. Glad he finally got a power. Maybe he will be the one to kill Hiro :prays Mohinder- Can they kill him off already? He serves zero purpose and the actor who plays him is terrible. He makes one dumb move after the next. Matt- He is the only character that has stayed consistent each season. He can stay. Daphne- I <3 her which means she won't make it to the finale Because her name isn't Hayden or Ali. Claire- Whiney self absorbed cunt. Always ME ME ME. Shut the fuck up. HRG has risked his life numerous times, hell even died once and this bitch could care less. Still treats him like shit. Oh and why does everything have to revolve around her? HRG- Still rocks but underused this season Angela- Another one underused this season. She is so badass and the most fierce female on the show. Which means she won't be on long. Sylar- So sick of his shit. OMG I CUT OPEN HEADZ EVERY EPISODE!!11!! so old. Can we finally get rid of him and make room for different villians. I was one of the few that liked him going good for a while. It was atleast different. Tracy- Much more enjoyable then Niki. Ali Larter plays bitch the best. wish she was part of Nathan going psycho. Would of loved seeing them 2 doing mass damage together next chapter Nathan- Ok I like that he has finally gone bad. Adrian Pasdar is bad ass and is the only one who could pull it off right. But why the fuck did they redeem him season 1 finale, made him good second season? Then had him being a god warrior and a matter of episodes turn into a psychopath. Does not make sense. They could of atleast started the change around the beginning of this season to make it more believeable. I don't buy that it came out of the blue. Peter- Worthless. Has caused the most fuck ups all 3 seasons and they still want us to root for him. Please, I look forward to him failing each time. Milo is a weak actor and when he was future Peter it was hilariously awful. Him taking the formula was so hypocritically but the audiance is suppossed to look over that and go "Aw Peter got his power back" and a big fuck you to Tim kring and the writers. You got lazy, you underestimated the audiances attention and intelligence and you failed big time. You ruined pratically every character. You made a potentially great season crap and a made the show a huge laughing stock. Honestly if I was any actor on the show I would be hoping my character was next to die. Because some of them people are way to good for this shit. Next chapter/volume looks promising but so did the last one so I am not holding my breath. |

I assume if Ando touches Claire, she becomes a higher power, or some other terrible idea.
And a big fat fucking X to the "fuck you, Kring" card we should ALL be signing.

Hallelujah, Hiro has no abilities and Ando has an ability!
What last night's episode did was close some loop holes, but leave huge gaping ones behind anyway. The first being, obviously, the deaths of Sylar and Meredith. Sylar isn't dead, or at least, he's not dead yet. Claire mentioned that getting stabbed in the back of the head will disable her, but it won't kill her. As soon as that glass shard is pulled out of his head, unless it became decapitated from his body, he'll heal up, even if he was burned crispy. Meredith, on the other hand, I don't see how she could have died unless something collapsed on her. Flint mentioned that he can't get burned, and he has almost the exact same ability as his sister, so why would she die in a fire? She's already survived one fire before (with Claire as a baby). Another loophole is what prompted Nathan's turn. He just strangely turned last episode, and then last night he was fighting his brother? That made little sense. Also of the "makes little sense" variety is Suresh's power cure. Does he have powers now? Or did the formula just negate his older ability? This ties in to Peter in that what happens when someone who loses an ability (by whatever means) and then is injected with the formula. Does the person get their old ability back, or is it a completely new ability? Something tells me that he's got an ability, but it isn't the same as it was before. Finally, with regards to time-travel without a person who can time travel. Remember Superman (the 1978 movie)? I was thinking that's how Ando and Daphne traveled back in time, and were able to travel forward in time as well, although I don't think either of them changed earth's rotation. They simply went faster. Its better explained through String Theory, if any of you ever get the chance. |

String theory? I'd like to hear how she can direct which way through time she goes. If she goes faster clockwise, she goes forward in time, and if she goes
faster counter-clockwise, she goes back in time.

Are you really referencing Superman as an explanation for time travel?
I really hope that they take this opportunity to put a boot on Peter's power. One at a time, or have them fade, or hurt, or whatever, but -- and now that I think about it, this should be true for ALL of them -- there should be a cost to using these powers. My muscles are designed for running, but if I run too much, I tear and hurt them. Even the body's natural designs can be pushed beyong their ability to repair, and the same should be true of, I don't know, shooting lighting out of your fingers or suffering MASSIVE trauma repeatedly. (Where the hell are they getting the energy for this? And don't give me that suspension of disbelief thing -- it's what keeps this show from being about magic, that there IS some kind of scientific explanation for all of it) |

Andy has powers. And it looks like he has one of those swiss army powers that the writers didn't learn their lessons from with Peter and Sylar. I don't see how Ando's powers are anything like Peter and Sylars in the least. Basically, we only know that he can amplify other peoples powers through touch and that's it. In the long run, that benefits everyone else BUT Ando, unless he finds a way to use it defensivly, even still, it's not nearly as powerful as the first two. I love his power, but that stems from the fact that I've wanted Ando to have powers for the longest. |

Let me know if you still feel that way after the tenth time that someone has come to Ando and touched him and had their power supercharged. (Well, that's
what the old writers would have done -- we'll see what happens)
