Only the poorer parts flood, so it's no big deal. I can't bake brownies anyway, kitchen is all torn apart for remodeling. I'm just about tired of

and a lot of not so poor neighbor hoods flood too - the ones along Cypress Creek, for example and the ones up 290 and it's not gonna hit until tonight - go buy some brownies somewhere |

This morning freeway message signs were flashing "STORM FORMING, FILL YOUR GAS TANKS", so like a good obedient resident, I pulled into gas station
and waited 20 minutes to fill my tank.
I called a buddy of mine, and tomorrow we are going to play hooky from work and head to Galveston to watch it come in. Last year I rode out Humberto on the Boliver Ferry crossing back and forth. Pretty bumpy ride, with lots of wind and waves and rain. This is like a snow day for me, I can't wait! This thing better not turn and go somewhere else. |
