yeah i have read the agnostic. they forced me to in rehab. but the other reason AA doesnt work is because all the old alchys/drunks look down on younger people
because they overlook the fact they share the same problem. and, yes i am aware of youth meeting but those were more like high school cliques. and yes i went
to a bunch of different ones. and yes they all made me pray in unison to our "higher power"

so, you're under the impression the people who care about you just woke up one day with nothing better to do and said "let's put dkoct into rehab, it'll be fun"? does rational recovery include the idea of personal responsibility? the old drunks don't look down on the younger people, they are there to carry the message, but not tailored to suit your needs. they've seen too many like you in coffins. |
