Alex became a fan after he left the show. He began searching for Mole seasons to watch and has been pretty active on Youtube (which is how we initially traced him back to his Myspace page). It seems like the majority of the cast this season were genuine fans of the show, especially Marcie, Bobby, Victoria, and Paul.

Of course fans of the show are going to be insulted if the producers keep picking people who have never heard of the mole and only want to get on TV to further a potential career in acting and modelling. It's just an insult to actual fans of the show who want to get on it.

I can see if the "mactor" had absolutly no interest whatsoever in the show, but most people,even mactors, seem to enjoy the experiance or "take' something from,regardless of how "normal" or "mactorish" they are. I don't appreciate it when all people interested in modeling,acting,etc are portreyed as vapid asswipes. Many of them are, but theres no need to caricatureize

Although it does bug me when they lie about being fans afterwards. Besides, I really liked Paul. I think he is a fan.

I think Craig is a genuine fan as well. Ali is definitely a mactor though. I love Victoria's bio, how she told a beauty pageant judge that her favorite show is the mole because one has the chance to lie and be deceitful. Too bad apparently it cost her chances of winning the contest.
