I'd love for Nicole to be the Mole, but I'd still much prefer Craig being the Mole to Mark. I mean, what would be the point of the show if Mark is the Mole? Everyone has "sabotaged" something or another, but Mark has, by far, sabotaged the least of pretty much everyone, but especially the remaining 3. If he's the Mole maybe next season the Mole just won't sabotage anything at all to stay hidden. So, why again do so many people want him to be the Mole?

Presumably people want him to be the Mole because they latched onto clues early on that made them think he's The Mole, and despite his being the least Moley guy on the show, they feel changing their pick (and thus being wrong about the cluies) more distasteful than the idea of a non-sabotaging, money-making-powerhouse Mole. Or they really want the series to come back next season as The Helper.

Mark would be like Bill all over again, except it will add shock value (because all of the clues for Bill were found very easily). I remember being annoyed, because not only did Bill add more to the pot than he sabotaged BEFORE counting the $100,000 he added in the final mission...he also didn't stay entirely hidden, since Dorothy and Heather were both onto him.

As a Mark-FOMO supporter, I'm really hoping that they'll show us things that none of us could possibly have caught onto, and if he's the Mole, I have a feeling that he got into some difficult situations in which sabotage would be difficult without giving himself away (and example being the treadmill position in that wine mission. I think that Craig and Nicole were testing him to see if he would pipe up with the obvious answers or not).

Posts: 7897 (08/02/08 7:09 PM) I need a life Reply Quote More Recent Posts Message Connection Block Invite	Um, editing can't change the fact that he added $50,000 to the pot with the Exemption in the cage challenge and $70,000 to the pot with the wine-riddles-treadmill challenge--which he could have sabotaged very very easily and in a subtle way if he had taken a role besides running on the treadmill. Just those 2 decisions added $120,000 to the pot. That's about 1/3 of the pot right there. Not to mention the fact that he yelled at Craig to put in the correct code in the challenge at the final 5 (another $50,000) and didn't entertain us by getting somebody's questions wrong in the loved ones challenge--come on guys, we all know that if somebody had messed up the challenge, they would have gotten to see their loved one later anyways (as they did in both Mole 1 and Mole 2). I could go on and on, but the point is, Mark has added WAAAAAY more to the pot than anything he's sabotaged. I'm not saying he can't be the Mole. I'm just saying that if he's The Mole, then he's a shitty one--plain and simple.

But regardless, Dorothy <3 Mark being the mole would be better than Craig being the mole, because if Craig isn't the mole, it means he can still be the loser, which is the greatest gift of all (unless he wins, which is a little scary to think of).

Her next suspect was bill, but she told dorothy cause she wanted someone who would answer like her, so if they were wrong she could still be faster. Wrong move. Posts: 1007 (08/04/08 2:36 PM) Registered User Reply Quote More Recent Posts Message Connection Block Invite	If Mark is the Mole, more than likely we'll learn that he: 1. did some sabotage that viewers wouldn't be able to detect; 2. tried but ultimately failed to sabotage in many moments; 3. found himself in bad positions for sabotaging. I still think it's quite possible that mid to end game too many players were on to him and watching him like a hawk, and as a result he found himself unable to sabotage without it being obvious. But all you MarkFOMO-haters are right, unless we get some crazy revelations at the finale, he wasn't a very good mole.
