Bethenny Frankel was on the New York Housewives show. I guess she thinks her friends are the classy rich who stopped spending on any luxuries due to the economy.

Lim must pay a lot of money for that wig, it is a lace front but the part looks really bad. She can really do a lot better and get a much better weave with all
her money.

I have to keep watching solely for the OTT-ness of this show. Who gives a 11 year old girl two Louis Vuitton bags within the span of 2 weeks (the one they
showed sells for $1660!) AND gives her an $18K birthday party? This girl has a definite future on "My Super Sweet 16" if Big Papa is in the picture
that long. Kim can't just be a stay at home mom who gets all her funding from Big Papa. Has she said anything about working?
I am just aghast at the excess. Ms. Snow has an estate manager AND a personal assistant...a governess AND a nanny. (Which, by the way, isn't helping...as her kids seem quite unruly and lacking of discipline and respect.) Sheree has 1000 pairs of shoes and spends $6500 on more on what looks to be a regular basis. Who did they say Sheree's ex husband is? |

Yes, $6500 on shoes for about six pairs only. And I feel guilty when I go over a hundred for a good pair of walking shoes.
Sheree's husband is an NFL player, Bob Whitfield. I feel sorry for the kids. I don't think either side really wants them. Sheree seems to see them as collateral for her seven figure divorce settlement that she feels entitle to. Kim is an aspiring country singer. I haven't seen any indication that she actually works. |

Her ex must have been married before, because I read somewhere that he has 5 children. He also has another home in California and has retired from the NFL and is now a "music producer". Don't know how that's going but I wish her luck in her 7 figure settlement. If she spends $6.500 on six pairs of shoes, when she's got at least 1000 pairs already, that 7 figure settlement won't last long. Just the upkeep on that house has to cost a small fortune. I noticed when she went shopping that she paid with a Bank of America Visa card. It wasn't even a signature card...just a regular ol Visa card. Even I have a black signature card from BOA and I'm not living in a mansion or spending $6,500 on shoes. I was trying to find some info on DeShawn's 'foundation'. Specifically when she started it because I get the feeling it's really just a sham to make it look like she actually does something besides spend massive amounts of money. They showed her in her 'office' but all she did was interview 'estate managers' for her personal home. I couldn't find the date that it was started, but I did come across this: EDJ Realty - DeShawn Snow Foundation You will get fired BECAUSE YOU ARE CAPABLE. All the owner is doing is 'funding her own stupidity'. ripoff Alphaetta GeorgiaRead how Ripoff Report saves consumers millions. Rebuttal Box
Are you an owner, employee or ex-employee with either negative or positive information about the company or
individual, or can you provide "insider information" on this company?

DeShawn shouldn't have mentioned Google. If you do a Google search on her "foundation", you find two websites for her "non-profit"
foundation, the Rip off Report (as found by FineWine2), and dozens and dozens of websites that mention her role on Real Housewives. But not a single mention of
anything positive that the foundation has ever done nor any mention of any young girl it has ever helped "empower".
With all the legit non-profits out there desperate for help, this one sounds like it's probably just a tax shelter and just something to keep "Mr. Snow's" wife "busy" instead of, say, acting like a real mother by disciplining her unruly brats. |

My. God.
OTT doesn't even begin to cover this epi. How can someone expect to raise a million dollars in a night when they have 'ax' and 'jury' (ask and jewelry respectively) in their vanacular? She's an illiterate child and did you notice her camp for girls offers professional make up artists giving demo's? Niiiiiice. If any of you had said a week or two ago that I'd have grown fond of NeNe, I'd have scoffed. Kinda diggin her AND her husband. Lovin Kim, but she can't sing. I hate that I missed where her psychic lives though. Sheree sucks ass and needs to get over herself. ETA: DeShawns freudian slip was the show stealer...re raising money: Nothing is possible.

As I said, her two websites for the "non-profit". There are 3 newletters including "Novemeber [sic] 2006", December 2006 and January 2007.
So what have they done for the last year and a half?
I work for a non-profit. You can still be a non-profit if most of the money is used to pay the salaries of the "directors" or CxO's. There's no rule that says what percentage has to be used towards whatever stated goal is of the non-profit. There is if you want to avoid taxes but that's probably not that big a negative for her. It just can't be obvious that the non-profit was set up only for the benefit of the directors & CxO's or, if they end their fiscal year with a surplus, it can't give that surplus as bonuses to the directors / CxO's. I know our CxO's are all paid over $130k annually. And they never neglect to give themselves a raise each year. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Non-profit_organization "Many non-profits are operated by either volunteers, paid staff or a combination of both, usually reserving the senior executive positions to paid personnel while the entry-level and field positions are frequently held by volunteers." http://dogood.ajc.com --> 130 non-profit and charitable organizations (including, of course, the Boy and Girls Clubs and Big Brothers / Sisters organizations) that are within 100 miles of Atlanta with a stated goal of "youth development" and DeShawn's foundation is not among that 130. Hell, even one of her "empowered" girls that DeShawn was standing next to was wearing what? A T-Shirt for the YWCA, not DeShit's Foundation. Sorry if it seems like I'm raving. It just annoys me that there are so many good charities out there and there are so many people who need the help of those organizations yet there's just not enough to go around.. and then this (in my eyes) poser shows up wanting a million bucks. If she felt so fuckin' strongly about "doing good", she could offer up for auction some of her fuckin' Louis-whatever handbags and shoes that the bitch never uses. Instead she immediately digs her hooks into all her "friends", to decide how they can help her cause; like volunteering them to offer themselves as dates for auction, etc. You don't see her offering a damn thing to her own cause. If you donate, give it to well-known, trustworthy organizations like United Way, etc. |

I need to watch this epi again with my shot glass and tequila. a shot for every axe. that is the ONLY way I could watch this epi again. I was climbing
the walls with all that axin' they were doing. if Kim had busted out with an axe, I was reaching for the remote. |

Is all that shit in her name or his? Her children would have to give up so much it's scary. Sheree says she's a fashion designer, but I've only seen her party and shop. I hope the court views this show and nails her. |

I am liking Ne Ne more and more. I was laughing my ass off at her horror at the songs Kim was playing. "Tardy to the Party" - did I hear that right?
I loved Ne Ne's improvisations. I swear she made those songs more entertaining.
Also, (and someone please correct me if I'm off, because I admit I was flipping channels and might have missed something) from what I saw, Ne Ne was the only one who didn't openly scoff at DeShawn's idea of raising a million dollars in one night. DeShawn's a lazy, ridiculous twit so she deserves to be mocked, but I didn't see Ne Ne do it like the others did. I'm not saying I want Ne Ne to be my bff, because the woman is loud and delusional, but she doesn't seem to have a mean streak like the others do.
