I have a lot of African-American friends, which is funny because I grew up in Connecticut and I didn't have any Black friends. I would have to say that more than half of my friends are African-American, so I don't feel out of place at all. My husband put this program to record weekly. He enjoys the ladies even more than I do.

Several articles if you google him. Any pics of the son? After looking at google stuff on the son, I'd say he's an incredible catch, and he's cute in the pictures. Kim should do everything to marry that sugar daddy. Well here's one, the son is second from the right in the cap next to Brody, and his name is Jared Najjar and here he is shopping for art with Brandon Davis (go to that web site and click on the photos because they were too big to put on here) and he is cute and from fafarrazi.com, Brandon Davis finally scored some legitimate income. He calls himself an art broker - and apparently he really is one, because he brokered a $400,000 deal for two Warhols. (Marilyn and Flowers seen above) The buyer was Brandon's friend Jared Najjar, who is Brody Jenner's superwealthy buddy on The Hills. Girls should note that Jared is the true "catch" among all the losers on that show. He comes from a family of real estate billionaires and we hear he's mannerly and well brought up. Plus he's 24 and has a Black AX card. Brody Jenner and Spencer Pratt call Jared Najjar, heir to a commercial real-estate fortune, the Godfather. He bought them a fleet of cars, including a Bentley and a Rolls-Royce. "He's the only 24-year-old kid I know who has a Black Card," Jenner told Details in 2007. Sometimes it looks like she has a "fall" on top of her head...or a wig....and extensions. She's too old to pull off the long blond hair. and KG...I'm a closet trash tv watcher too. I did tell one of my friends who doesn't watch any reality tv to at least watch the first episode and see if she can stomach it. I'd love to have at least one RL friend to talk about it with.

Her friend Kim Zolciak wrote a $68,000 personal check for a Cadillac Escalade, while another housewife, Deshawn Snow, took viewers on a tour of her 15,000-square-foot mansion and interviewed applicants for her staff. Two are married to professional athletes, and a third is divorcing an athlete, seeking a "lump sum" in "seven figures." Another appears to be supported by a man she calls "Big Poppa." The timing of a TV show that wallows in wealthy indulgence when millions are panicking about their financial futures struck some viewers as especially tacky. "In this dreadful financial climate, it is particularly unbelievable to watch this level of conspicuous consumption," Bethenny Frankel, who was one of the "Real Housewives of New York," posted in a blog - one ostensibly set up to promote the series on Bravo's Web site. Frankel called the Atlanta series " 'Cribs' meets 'Jerry Springer.' " Not everyone, though, had a negative reaction. " 'Real Housewives' is supposed to be over the top," said Tomesha Lawrence, an East Cobb wife and mother of three. "We should give the show a chance." Some posters on various blogs have said they will continue to watch, although terms like "hot mess" come up now and then. "Real Housewives of Atlanta" is the third such reality series location for Bravo, following Orange County and New York. While those earlier shows focused on well-off women who were sometimes catty and superficial, the women chosen to represent Atlanta appeared to some to take those attributes to a new level. And it paid off, at least at first. "Atlanta's" first episode drew 656,000 viewers nationally, well ahead of Orange County's and New York's premieres, although nowhere like what a Bravo show such as "Project Runway" draws. Allie Schellhammer, who stays home with her infant daughter in Atlanta, hadn't even heard of the show, but was visiting her parents in Alpharetta and happened upon it while flipping through channels. "One of the main themes was that money and what you wear is so important in Atlanta," she recalled. "I felt like, oh no, everyone watching is going to think Atlanta is so superficial and materialistic." And why wouldn't they? As Zolciak said last week, "I'm very materialistic. I could die tomorrow, and I want to be wearing Dior." Some real housewives of Atlanta pointed out that the show's housewives did not even fit the title. Two of the "wives" are single, and there seems to be very little work shown on camera. "They don't even take care of the kids!" said Clark. Caldwell used to live in Buckhead, and said she was friends with women who had expensive tastes and nannies for their children. "But it's still not an accurate representation of housewives in Atlanta," she said. "That's not the real women of Atlanta," echoed Clark. "Not the women I know ."

The show is not a documentary for god's sake (despite the word Real" in the title) so I'd hope that people watching it aren't taking it too seriously. I'm in.That sounds excellent!, as for lunch... instead of the classic "white trash" party theme, we'll have a "Real Housewives Trash" lunch theme and wear/carry our finest knock-offs, nylon extentions, rhinestone covered cell phones, and huge CZ studded jewels. We'll each bring a friend whose only part is to sit at the next table so we can bark over random nuggets like "Personal assistant, call chef and tell him Frank Jr wants gold leaf spread on his toast each morning from now on. It's what the elite do." or "Did you schedule my anal bleaching?". After lunch I suggest we go in for Botox, lip plumping, and possible vadge renovation to compliment the freshly bleached starfish.
