Pot is now the number one cash crop in the country.
Legalize it and tax the hell out of it. Earmark the funds for Social Security or Medicare or somesuch. |

Should Marijuana Be Legal? For those of us who value liberty, the answer is obviously yes. |

Yes. It seems so unlikely though. Doesn't it seem much farther away from becoming legalized than it was ten years ago? With the increasing restrictions on
cigarettes, it seems so unlikely that weed is on it's way to legalization in the US or Canada. It is only for much hipper countries. Hip...I like that. It
kind of pops.

I would say pot's a lot closer to being legalized than it was ten years ago, but there will still be consumer protections against unwanted second-hand
smoke inhalation. I'm FOR the decriminalization of weed, but that doesn't mean I want to be sucking people's smelly fumes when I walk outside or am
at a restaurant.

I'd like to think it's getting closer to being legal. But then again, we're not moving away from the Nanny State. In WA State we have laws about
trans fats and plastic bags at the grocery, etc. I'd like to see more bills passed that make fewer laws, not more.

Government should exist below the individual, empowering him, not oppressing him. Banning trans fats empowers people because those types of fats can be foisted
on people cheaply and we wouldn't even know it.
So laws and legislation that empowers individuals = good. Laws and legislation that exist above individuals and oppress or limit them = bad. |

I don't think they should ban trans fat, just make retailers put "Trans Fat" in the title of the food. Like "trans fat burger." Would
people buy that? Well, at least they would know what they're getting into.

Don't take away choice, simply make sure the populace gets to make informed choices. |

Well yes of course it should be legal, it is natural plant, homeopathic medicine, good grief, safer that the proccessed foods and other crap that is legal
I feel if marijuana is illegal than ciggarettes and alcohol should be too. You don't get as messed up on weed as you do alcohol. |
