Definitely isnt the type of guy I normally go for, and his hair (not the color) really bothers me. But he does have his personality, so Rex is amazing.

His wit is brilliant and his charisma undeniable. Love the voice. Love the physical presence. Love the way he winds people up. As far as the ginger thing goes, there is a bias in the UK, it seems. Every time I've seen it come up in predominantly UK chat rooms, there's always at least a couple of people who say, "I hate gingers!" and then a debate ensues. I wonder if it stems from a deeper, cultural anti-Irish sentiment? It does seem bizarre to hate someone for their hair color. But it happens with skin color all the time, so....There's a hilarious South Park that satirizes anti-gingerism, by the way.

Also must point out, as so many have already, his awareness of himself as an "asshole" and the sort of internal battle between self-loathing/self-acceptance that comes from it. That actually might be my favorite thing about him. That and the one-liners. Clever, clever guy.

Mick Hucknell, the twat who sings for Simply Red, once famously complained that ginger discrimination is like racism. I just can't understand it. I think Rex could do with a decent haircut, though. I do like him, but really, that little cone/crest thing is a bit odd.
