Players for the next challenge you are going to be up to your knees in words. The reason that you were split up into two groups is because you are going to be working on two different parts of the challenge. Wordsmiths you are going to be given 20 word problems that you are going to have to solve. For example if you are given the problem 7 = D in a W you are going to have to solve the problem to figure out that 7 = Days in a Week. You will only have TWO tries per word problem. For every word problem that you solve $1,000 will be added to the pot and the linguists will receive one clue to their part of the challenge. Linguists you will only receive clues after some of the word problems have been solved. All of your clues will be pertaining to one particular building that is quite famous. There is a catch though. All of the clues will be written in foreign languages. Linguists it is your job to figure out what language the clue is in and after the clue has been translated what the clue actually says. For every correct translation of the clues the Puzzlemaster will receive one piece of the puzzle that he will have to put together. The puzzle that the Puzzlemaster has to put together is a picture of the same place that the clues were pertaining to. You don't have to have all the pieces of the puzzle for you to venture a guess at what the building is. Guess the correct building and an additional $5,000 will be added to the pot. Good luck players and you can get started. |
