CHALLENGE RESULTS:
For this challenge it was SOA's job to select five journals he thought were marked for cash. His five picks were:
Yzma
Dash
Li Shang
Colette
Lizzie
Two of those picks were correct: Lizzie and Colette. That means that for this challenge $20,000 will go into the pot.
However Franklin's part of the challenge was to also pick five journals marked for cash. For every correct journal pick that he made that was the same as SOA's the money for that journal would be cut in half. SOA and Franklin were allowed to talk to each other about which journals they should pick. Franklin's choice was to either pick journals completely different from SOA's to avoid losing any cash or he could have done the opposite of that.

Lizzie
Yzma
He picked two of the same marked journals as SOA did. Therefore the total winnings have been cut in half to $10,000.
