No, but speaking of hoaxes, did you read 1421: The Year the Chinese Discovered America?
I tried to keep an open mind, but when the author stated that they had circumnavigated Greenland, I shut the book permanently. |

He wrote a followup: 1424: The Year the Chinese Ignited the Renaissance, or something like that. He said the Chinese came to Florence and exposed Italians to
all their secrets and that Da Vinci was just copying from Chinese notebooks. Unfortunately, any evidence of the trip was destroyed when the Chinese fleet was
detroyed by a tidal wave resulting from a nearby meteor impact.
