Move along, nothing to see here, just a gentle nature theme, but without the great commentary Scruffy can provide! So I'll just share the pics.

Back from my yearly woodland getaway. More dragonflies than usual and less mosquitoes. Very nice change!

First up...dragonfly against the sky.




Here's the pond they like to buzz around. You can't really see the dragonfly in this one, but I thought the shadow in the pond was cool. Really looks like a helicopter!





My camera's zoom focus wasn't working that great, I found out later. But here's my favorite red dragonfly.




Next to the pond, a bunch of double-wing dragonflies were sitting on this tree. Can you see them?




Here they are.





This guy was sunning himself in the little rock garden. He's hard to see because his wings are reflecting the sun.





Here's a few of the other turkeys that were with me.





And of course, deeper in the woods you have to see Bambi.





Bambi says bye!





So there you are. Not as acrobatic as your dragonflies, Scruffy, but fun to try and get their picture!
