Sookie bitchslapping Eric was awesome, and I think that her lack of fear/respect of Eric is one of the things that makes her interesting to him (in addition to
her ability to read minds, of course). But she's getting a little carried away. The 'release Lafayette now or I'll go to the cops' thing was
bullshit. Much as I like Sookie, I would have laughed if Eric opened a can of whoop ass on her. Being courageous is all well and good, but having some fear
of vampires would be healthy.
Lafayette has always been my favorite character, and it broke my heart a little to see him wrap himself up in an afgan and cry. The actor that plays him is awesome. He is always believable. Dayum, that doctor was hilarious. Eric: "It's always a pleasure doing business with you". Doctor: "Fuck off" I hope we see more of her. |

MaryAnn is defo a Maenad, Alan Ball mentions it several times in all the interviews.
Now whether Alan decided she would be the one to attack Sookie...I dunno. I would guess it was her or she turned her pig into something else, or her servant. |
