I like my vampires with lots of sex, violence and scariness....so Twilight does nothing for me. The movie was "pretty" I guess.

They have like 8 books now, right? Do you think we'll be lucky enough to have 8 seasons of this? Come on HBO!

Nine books, including the original, are out right now. Charlaine Harris says she has enough material to write four or so more books though.
I hope, but I highly doubt it would make it to nine seasons. |

I dunno, it's the highest rated show they've had since The Sopranos. Alan Ball said they hope to do it until the vamps look to old for their parts.

This show makes me want to be a casting director because I would have had each and every one of the hot men in the cast on my casting couch. I only just
watched season 1 on DVD (caught a few episodes last fall while staying with a friend and liked it). Not sure if I will just wait for season 2 to come out on
DVD or try to watch it online.

Just coming, in my traditional "Late to the party" fashion...Mainly because I don't get HBO/SHO (due to free cable on campus...)
Catching Season 1 on DVD, and holy shit, another phenomenal series on premium cable. Only on episode 4 and looooove it. And that Jason Stackhouse is one hot piece of man ass... (Does anyone know if HBO will be streaming the episodes directly to Roku from Netflix? You can watch new episodes of Weeds and Nurse Jackie that way...) |

How does on engineer the Roku/Netflix correspondence?
I am so pissed awf at DirecTV these days that as soon as FIOS iz available on my block, I'm switching. And somebody remind me: I thought it was all but certain that it was Lafeyette's foot hanging out of that car. Am I mis-remembering? |

It was a black foot, and it had shown Lafayette getting snuck up on while taking out the trash.
So somebody black dies is all we know I guess. |

Which could be Lafayette, Tara's mom or the voodoo chick...or someone else.
I know we're all supposed to think it's Lafayette, i'm just HOPING it's not. |

How does on engineer the Roku/Netflix correspondence?Piranhahahahahaha, It's pretty easy...You buy the Roku player, hook it up to your TV, it connects to the interwebs, it gives you a code, you enter the code while logged in under your Netflix account...And the connection between the Netflix account and your Roku player is set. Netflix hasn't really streamlined their process about adding things to the queue, sometimes they add stuff to the instant and DVD queue, sometimes it doesn't. It's really good for TV series, but only some seasons are available to watch instantly on your TV... I'm sure eventually they will all be available on your TV sooner or later, but, a lot of the older movies are what you can watch. Any other questions, shoot me a PM...I want to avoid this thread to avoid season 1 spoilers. |

Right now True Blood isn't available to immediately watch on Netflix. Maybe that might change.

I'm going to shoot you this exact text in a PM without Season 1 spoilers, but I am a long time subscriber to Netflix. They still don't have season 1
with their little watch on demand blue box.
Roku costs money? It's only maybe $10 per month or so for me to add HBO to my asshole DirecTV lineup. Worth it vs. Roku? |
