I also noticed that in the recap he called Bill's "maker" Lorena, even though her name is never said in that episode. Will we have Club Dead for season 3? I was browsing my cable guide last night & caught the special last night. McW, re your spoiler, I caught that and the way Ball made that statement made me very, very hopeful. That character is too good to die already. And the promos with Eric's hair slicked back, rather than hanging limply, fulfills Eric's hotness potential the way it should be. Can't wait until 6/14. This summer is going to be amazing Sunday night viewing . . . True Blood and the entire Dexter series replay . . . Sunday nights are booked for me.

Between Eric's new hair and old clips of Lafayette, I think I got the vapors. Apprently Chow the bartender is Coach Tanaka in Glee. I did not know that til last night. The one sour spot in the season preview (and much of last season) for me is Jessica.I like the idea of the character, but I think the actress is shitty and overplays it. Not believable at all.

As you might have already guessed, Season 2's first casualty is related to Tara, but not in a way that you will guess. At first blush, the significance of said death will not be apparent, but just wait! Also, a minor character's drinking problem will resurface - hilariously. I think it's too obvious to be Lafayette. Tara's mother dying would be more unexpected and less relevant to the main plot, which fits the "insignificant at first" clue pretty well.

Alan Ball would drive a wooden stake through my heart if I spoiled any of the big twists (i.e. my lips are sealed about the fate of a certain flamboyant vampire blood dealer), but here are a few juicy morsels to whet your appetite: • There are three orgies, all of them powered by Maryann's (Michelle Forbes) aphrodisiac fairy dust. • Alexander Skarsgard's Nordic vamp has an extremely homoerotic encounter with a character who shall remain nameless. In related news, there are about two dozen gratuitous shirtless shots in the first four episodes, all of them belonging to either Mechad Brooks (Tara's new BF, Eggs) or Ryan Kwanten (Jason). • Sookie has a very revealing conversation with a new character in episode 4. • If you're wondering what secret Merlotte's newest waitress (played by Ashley Jones) is harboring, a clue can be found on her skin.
