Potential family challenge intrigue... |

Couldn't the player answering the questions just lied about the answers to make it easy to remember? Like say "dragon" as the answer to every
question, then the player asking the questions could just say "dragon" when Jon asked the question. That's what I would have done.

They asked the family members the questions to get the answers. The Players had to match them Newlywed Game style. The correct answer wasn't what the
Player said to their partner, but what the Family member told to producers.
But yes, if a Player had the foresight, they could have told all their friends and family members to say "dragon" to any questions the producers might ask. |

Scree, I don't think it was newly wed game style.
That would be extremely difficult. All three answers had to match??? Eagle, I was wondering if that was Paul's technique. He's the one who answered: "I Don't Know!" or "Pass It!", "Skip It!" to many of the questions. (Mark said he did that to two thirds of them, right?) They didn't show us everything, of course. But did the producer just skipped all the ones Paul did not answer or did not know, and only quizzed Mark those he actually answered. Which means there was a lot less for Mark to memorize. But that would be cheating in my book. The producers should have tossed up all the Qs and pick out five, regardless if Paul gave an answer or not. I know it would have been very difficult to deny the family visit, but them Survivors do it fair. The way it happened for Paul, I couldn't help thinking there was cheating/help from the producers involved. So, does that mean Paul is our Mole????? No idea!!! ;-D BTW, I am so honored to have the Mole's color all over my post!! |

Did they have to? How else would John know the answers?

Scree, when I said "All three answers had to match???", I meant the three answers from Paul, his wife/GF and Mark!
They showed one, yeah. But dont you think the ratio should have been a lot more than that? It was a huge long list for the split second I saw it. |

Yeah, all three would match. Paul's wife would tell the producers her favorite color was blue, Mark would ask Paul what his wife's favorite color was,
Paul would say "blue", and Mark would tell John "blue".
It was a long list, like 25 questions. But John only asked 5 of them ("randomly" selected from those 25, naturally). That's how the Mission was designed. Which isn't to say the entire thing was a sham, which I think it was. It didn't matter what answers were given, all the doors were going to open. A nice $50,000 gift from the producers. Though... it would have been funny to see Paul say "Skip It" to all 25 questions, Mark say "He skipped them all", and the doors still open. |
