Well, this is geared for teenagers, mostly teenage girls. Tierney just wasn't very charismatic and she had dead eyes. I don't think she would have been
a big hit with the tweenies.

And he was the best package of talent and performance. Tierney is gorgeous, but isn't a very good singer (Over The Rainbow proved that); Christina is
gorgeous and a great singer, but she disappears on stage. She's just not much of a performer. Isaiah is the most natural performer of the four, and can
sing, but his voice is pretty unremarkable and not very powerful. Stan won because he deserved to.

Yeah Tierney proved tonight that she wasn't as big of a singer as I had originally thought. Her audition made her look better than she probably was. Still
though, she was easily the best of the night. Although it's more like having a D+ when everyone else fails. Stan's solo reminded me of Antonella's
rendition on AI, it was awful. His voice was cracking and it sounded like he went through puberty about 10 times over. Isiah's was laughable and all the
dancing for a song about dying, was kind of unnecessary (although I'm sure everything was choreographed like every other good Disneybot).
Stan winning just shows how the show has no credibility. He never even won a week, and even Christina fucking won. I just don't get it. Well yes I do, they need someone with looks to make their lil disney girls goo goo ga ga. Nobody from my state or hometown ever wins anything, even though Tierney came close. ETA: The best part of the finale was Bailey's random meltdown. I'm sure she thought that it was going to end up winning her the solo, but it went to Anthony instead  Tonight really showed how dull and horrible the show got without her.
Also, people can no longer bitch about the talent on American Idol anymore. This show, as well as the other knockoffs, make the AI folks look like world class singers.

This show, as well as the other knockoffs, make the AI folks look like world class singers.Totally going to say the same thing. This show was all about the "look" and not so much the singing ability. There wasn't a single one of the three solos (or Anthony's?!!!? Where was my sweet baby James? Or Ether?) that wouldn't have been CRUCIFIED by AI judges and possibly not even made it through to Hollywood. James was by far the best singer... And color me shocked that Tierney didn't win. |

Tierney is really good at belting out notes. However, when she is singing just straight she sounds way too raw.

I saw HSM3 tonight. All of the kids from the show were in Stan's video, which played about 2 minutes into the closing credits and lasted about 30
seconds...and took up about 1/4 of the screen. Pretty disappointing.
