Pretty good tribute....going to get better.

My husband is watching it. He's a Who freak. One floor up but I can hear it down here.

My husband is, too. He's complaining that the tv doesn't go "loud enough".
I nearly had to gag and tie up the 5 year old to keep him quiet during the sacred broadcast. |

Heh. I'm watching it upstairs and he's watching it downstairs. Ooh, Tenacious D doing Squeezebox!

Roger Daltrey is still pretty fucking hot. He needs a counterpart thread to Helen Mirren's

Anyone know who is playing the drums for The Who in this thing? Can't recognize. Gracias.

Ringo's kid plays the drums and he's a hell of a lot better than his dad ever was.

Just started watching as of Pearl Jam. Will catch Jack Black on the repeat right after. Say what you want about him, but he really can sing and perform better
than most.

So what was this?
I caught a little bit of "Amazing Journey: The Who" (something like that), a documentary with shitloads of old film from their "High Numbers" days on. Apparently two guys decided to take an unknown band and make them big, while filming the entire thing. |

VHI Honors. It was good. We saw them live a couple of days after Entwhistle died. Ringo's son on drums and Pete's brother on guitar.

Ugh I hate this shitey band. They had like 2 songs, and stretched it into a career. Pretentious shouty crap.

Oh. In that case they suck.
