I say Vic too.
He could quite possibly be the only one who remembers Friday Night videos with Terry David Mulligan. |

I remember Terry doing that and that he was a former RCMP officer. Remember Mike and Mike? I also hate remembering Christopher Ward's Fromage Videos every
New Year.

Was he there when Thriller premiered on my 13 inch black and white fuzzy tv? Yeah, I don't think so. |

Toronto's only hit song. And a damn good one hit wonder at that. Did that song chart well in the states? |

Toronto had a couple other moderate hits. It's a Girls Night Out and Start Tellin' the Truth.
Something I didn't know about them. The song "What About Love" was originally recorded by Toronto, having been written by band members Sheron Alton and Brian Allen along with outside collaborator Jim Vallance. The band elected not to release this recording, and the difficulty Allen and Alton faced in getting this and other material onto Toronto's albums eventually led to their departure from the group. In 1985, the song was offered to Heart, who turned "What About Love" into an international top 10 hit. Toronto's version was eventually released in 2002, as a bonus track on various CD resissues of their albums. And as far as JD Roberts, I have a ton of video from that time that if released, would rock the Drudge Report to the core. |
