Patrick Wilson was the guy without the mask in the Phantom of the Opera movie.

Okay, so help me out guys.
The guy with the giant wool sack over his face, is Roshack or whatever? He's the bad guy? I get that the blue get is D. Manhattan, Night Owl is self-explanatory. Who is the ass raper and the nerd guy in the green skin tight ensemble? |

Roarshach is not a bad guy. He is a good guy that is extremely violent and has a strict moral code that doesn't alwasy jibe up with what other people
think.

Let say that if Batman is in that world, he would hate one guy even more than even Joker and Al-Ruh Roh.

During early development in the early 1990s, mainly focused around the screenplay by Sam Hamm, early casting rumors includedRobin Williams as Rorschach, Jamie Lee Curtis as Silk Spectre, Gary Busey as the Comedian, and both Richard Gere and Kevin Costner considered for the role of NiteOwl. The project underwent numerous rewrites under director Terry Gilliam and his collaborator Charles McKeown, but got eventually shelved by Warner Bros. |

Holy crap - the idea of Robin Williams, Gary Busey, Gere/Costner as Watchmen almost makes me physically ill.

Sandman series is infinitely cooler than "the Watchmen".

And Sandman's only better if you're high.

maxxfisher wrote: Very black and white, hence the symbollism of the mask. And not just violent. He's very much willing to kill to preserve that moral code. I'm going to be waiting to see that scene that really turns Walter into Rorschach. "Even in the face of Armageddon..." There are some pretty funny (and ironic) interactions between Rorschach and Nite Owl since they contrast so much. He's a violent vigilante and Nite Owl's basically an idealist. Also going to love Dan talking to Laurie about "Captain Carnage" if they keep it in, which they have to. |
