I don't know why people are making the same mistake they make every year. Saying the five that make the PGA/DGA lineup = locks for Best Picture.
Never has PGA been 5 for 5. Something will be snubbed.
The Guilds use an entirely different voting system. Not a preferential ballot. I didn't know PGA + DGA = Lock, considering we've had: Diving Bell, Dreamgirls, Almost Famous, Being John Malkovich, etc.
Having PGA and DGA is a big plus. But people are ignoring SAG for some reason, the biggest voting block. Producers and Directors combined don't match the number of actors in the Academy.
I will never predict both TDK or F/N with the strong three. I just hate that Wall-E was ineligible for all these guilds, so we have no clue if the support for that film is enough.

Unfortunately an arthouse film like Wendy and Lucy with a pretty unknown
female director isn't really likely to ever be considered at the Oscar's .
