Besides, with the Best Animated Feature category, its chances are pretty slim to go all the way to the Best Picture noms considering the competition (besides, when you think about over-all enjoyment of an animated feature, Kung Fu Panda was much more satisfying which could lead to an upset). You might want to wait for Up next year instead, I hear that one tops Wall-E emotionally.

This film also has an expensive Best Picture campaign behind it that Pixar never shelled out for Finding Nemo or The Incredibles. If anything knocks off 1 of the 5 frontrunners this film is the likeliest.
Might want to add Wall-E to that list, although I suspect its chances are only a result of a few delusional people.
I just saw Happy-Go-Lucky, it's really pretty good, I hope it gets some awards. Sally Hawkins deserves to be nominated for Best Actress, I mean if Amy Adams could get a best supporting nod for Junebug, I don't see why Sally wouldn't in what is essentially an expanded version of that role. I also saw the Reader, what are the odds Winslet gets both Best Supporting and Best Lead in the same year? I certainly enjoy her performances more than Streep's Sister Eloysius in Doubt, which looking back was pretty hammy (Her Devil Wears Prada role was better and more deserving) a nomination should be the most it gets for her. my picks for best lead actress are Sally Hawkins, Kate Winslet, Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway and a toss-up between Melissa Leo and Angelina Jolie.
The Best actor category is obviously a battle between Mickey Rourke and Sean Penn.
I really really really hope Ben Button gets snubbed. Although I don't really see Dark Knight as good enough to be nominated for Best Picture, although if The Departed could get nominated and win I don't see why Dark Knight wouldn't at least get nominated, but still, it doesn't seem to be as good as the other buzz-worthy pictures (except for Ben Button, Dark Knight deserves it more than Benjamin Button)
