I wanted to watch the ones for gymnastics, but they didn't air any. I haven't seen any ceremonies for any other sports either. Oh well, that's what NBC is for. I'm not saying that Phelps isn't a magnificent swimmer -- he obviously is -- but his times are achieved through a combination of his own skill as well as his gear. If that wasn't the case, he wouldn't be wearing it. And the gymnasts who wear hand grips do so because they believe doing so gives them an advantage. The fact that not every gymnast wears them is irrelevent. No, what is IRRELEVANT is that some wear them and some don't, because they all have the CHOICE to wear them. Therefore, no one has an advantage that isn't available to the others.

As soon as Nastia stuck her vault, I knew that she'd have a good night. Her B and UB performances were beautiful, and she gave one hell of a FE performance. Shawn did great, too.
