But, in general, it IS true many 16 year old Asian girls look a lot younger, like 12, 13 year olds to many Westerners. And it is also true many 16 year old American or European girls look A LOT older (like in their 20s or even 30s) to many Asians.

Also, I think in some Asian countries, the way they calculate their age is different. For example, the minute you're born, you're alreay one year old because they count the 9 months in the womb as one year. And they gain a year at every New Year's Day, not on your birthday. So, if you're born on Dec. 30, 2008, you'll be two years old in Jan. 1, 2009. Pretty unfair, in a way, I guess.

I'm generalizing but it is pretty true that most Asians I know look younger than their other raced counterparts
