My heart just broke for Katie Hoff.
eta: The gymnasts will do fine if they get their shit together for the next round. They did ridiculously well for being as disabled as they were- they essentially were playing 4 against 6 & still came in 2nd. Can't fault them for that. Now they just have to give the perfomances of their lives. And then they need to kick it in the event finals & the all around. |

YAY @ that mother fucking EPICAL FIERCE ASS RELAY! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
He was like a half body length behind going into the final 25m and he literally JUST outtouched the french dude. Michael is basically golden now, that was the only real event up in the air, and he really didn't even do much to work for it <3. The night ends on a golden moment. My heart broke for Brenden Hansen who didn't even get top 3 and for Katie Hoff who had that gold medal in the bag but got outtouched. |
