I didn't witness them on the feeds too much today to pick up anything about these 2. I have heard Libra's crew complain that Angie had an alliance with him that was called out during the day before the feeds came live. I just don't know where they stand. I don't think almost anyone in the house is close to Jerry, as they don't perceive him to be there for the duration.

This has been a tumultuous start to the season. Last season the feeds began the night the house blew up because the jen/manbearpig relationship was uncovered in the house. It was a wild first night. This season, CBS mis-timed the feed start by about 12 hours. We could have watched the house coupe happen live if the feeds had begun just a tad early. The episode shown on tv last night filled in a lot of blanks for us. Too bad we were cheated of having the show start maybe last Thursday or Friday in a special episode. We could have had a much better intro to the season, rather than them cramming all of this into 2 episodes this week. Also, this season, they made nominations within 24 hours and in past seasons, nominations usually didn't happen for a couple of days. In a normal season, they are in the house almost 2 full weeks before the first boot. Instead, we are getting a boot in 8 days. The dynamics of this season has changed drastically because of this. But to use the cliche, it is what it is.

Let's discuss the week in summary. Julie starts the season by having the houseguests vote the HOH before they enter the house, just based on appearance. We know 7 votes, 4 went to Jerry and 3 went to Renny. Those were safe bets, to pick the oldest players. It would be very interesting to find out who voted for the others. I saw Libra tell the girls in the kitchen last night that she voted for Brian because she thought he was married and had planned to use being married as an excuse to bond with him. Brian wears a ring from an old relationship to remind him to do it better next time. Apparently he is pining for an ex girlfriend that has someone else now and has even told him that if it doesn't work out with her new guy, she would need lots of time before she even thought of dating him again (note to guys: this is a polite brush off from a girl. If you ever hear that, move on, she is done with you, no matter). So Brian wears that ring as a reminder to do it better next time. I have heard him say that on the feeds but I don't keep my feed windows big enough on my computer to see rings on fingers (I have 4 across the top of my machine about 3 inches wide each).

So this whole beginning of the game was a crash interpersonal relationship randomness because there was no chance to wade into the game slowly. The one person who didn't start the game slowly was Brian, but more on that later.

So we have the first day of activities. They did their luxury competition for the car and the slop for the losers. The people should have gotten a clue about Memphis based on how determined he was to win the car. That is an amazingly idiotically stupid thing to do the first day of a long term reality game show. NEVER win the big prize early. People NEVER forget that. There is a car curse in survivor because of this rule of reality tv. People will never let those who win shit on the way to the end win the big one. Evel Dick is an exception because those tards in his season were just outwitted by someone smarter than the dummies cast that season.

Memphis has the best game going the first week, inspite of winning the car. He promptly went under the radar in the Renny/Jessie drama. He bonded with Jessie, so he has a secret alliance with Jessie, thus has the big target for the week to hide behind. I am going to come back to why I think Memphis has the best game going right now later in this post.

Moving on to Jessie. What a dumbass. He talks about his physique all the time in his confessionals. Hey Jessie, newsflash, most of us think you are a DUMBASS!!!!! We don't give a shit that you eat certain foods throughout a day on a strict timed regimin for your "natural" body buiilding. Don't tell us in the DR confessionals you are worried about your physique intimidating your peers in the house when you spend all day working out, eating, and then being a personal trainer to those also working out. Then don't TALK about your body to the others in the backyard couch area the rest of the time. Also, don't get in a really STUPID fight the first night before nominations. Proof positive this guy has NO GAME and he is a meathead. He is only on BB in the hope for future stardom. The only shining moment he had this week was ripping his shirt after he won the veto. That was an entertaining moment. It might have been smarter to not win that veto and campaign all week and make deals, and let Renny get the boot. But instead, this meathead put a larger target on his head for a mid-game boot at the latest.

Renny - I am undecided about her. She was cast for entertainment value. I have enjoyed her calling Jessie out all week, including last night when Jessie told the group he was nominated for no reason. She was ballsy in how she called him out in the HOH party they showed in one of the episodes this week. The first night the feeds were on, she changed outfits and wigs several times. If someone in this house were smart, they would start a secret alliance with her. SHe could prove to be useful to someone in the game. However, it would have to be a loyal secret alliance because she has the capacity to call a betrayer out in front of the whole house.

Jerry - AUGH, I hope they boot him early. He is fucking boring, and adds nothing to this game. He isn't that smart, either. I am afraid he is going to chicken george/sheila himself in this game and end up in the final 4 because no one will want to waste an HOH on him. I don't want him on the jury. However, I think he will make it by default. Peeps have bigger fish to fry in this game.

Steven - good entertainment value. Best gay yet on Big Brother. He doesn't act queeny, he doesn't lisp, he doesn't appear to be catty, and he has zingy one liners. For instance, when discussing politics last night, Brian quizzed him on his beliefs. He pretty much is a conservative Democrat, mostly because he is from Texas and they have pretty different ideas about policies than liberals on either coast. He isn't for gay marriage because "I like sex too much to be married" He also told Brian that while in college he would go to nearby Huntsville and watch executions "for fun" Steven is pretty smart about people, and very insightful, so I expect him to make his mark this season. If he survives the pre-jury boots, he could go far.

Dan - peeps at sucks wanted to hate him from the beginning because he is an open conservative, but he has shown to be highly entertaining on the feeds. His protrayal of Brian in the sockpuppet show was hysterical. He made himself vulnerable by going into an alliance early on with Ollie, and later being betrayed because Ollie has been playing BB with his little Dick since he began sniffing around April. So Dan's social game has been lacking. He is going to be in a do or die situation for several boots, either having to win POV or HOH to stay in the game. However, he provides feed entertainment, so I hope he lasts longer.

Angie - for a player that was pretty obvious that she was planning an under the radar strategy, she has been quite in the center of things this first week. She has made very little attempt to ingratiate herself with the alpha females. This is a deadly mistake in a reality game. You gotta get in good with the bitches or they will focus on you with all bitch cattiness potential because gossipping about you is their way to entertain themselves. Catty bitches have to come up with reasons to hate you and they will. So Angie is really on the outs with them. She has chosen Michelle as a secret alliance partner (I think they think they have one, but it is the strangest relationship I have witnessed on reality tv). Michelle is not trustworthy, and Angie doesn't know it. Angie also has confided in Keesha, not knowing that Keesha throws everyone under the bus at the first opportunity. And by hanging around Brian, Dan and Steve, she is pitted with them, and on the early boot list by the others. Angie doesn't realize she is in a do or die situation this coming week. I think she plans on not winning HOH and hoping Dan or Steven do. I think Angie thinks Dan and Steven are the nominees if anyone else wins HOH, but she hasn't indicated that she realizes she could be the POV replacement nominee. We will have to watch what she does in the HOH competition tonite. If she goes out early and obviously throws it, then I will say girl has no game. I had her picked as a potential winner based on the CBS2 interviews. Seeing her in action, I am disappointed. I expected better play from her. She has a great sense of humor and was hilarious during the puppet show, and is good to listen to with general conversations on the feeds. But she trusts the wrong people in the game right now.

Michele - I can't figure her game out. I also am getting strong lesbian vibes from her. She has an unhealthy obssession with Angie, yet betrays her to the other bitches. She is the worst of Ivette, Whamber, Sheila, and every other crazy bitch we have ever had on this show all rolled into one person. She will make the jury, but will cause her boot through self destruction behavior mid-game. It is possible she melts down earlier and gets booted pre-jury, but there are too many others in front of her in line to be booted faster.

Keesha - Wow, who knew this blondie would cause the first real fight this season Last night's blowup was great, I loved it. Stupid for her gamewise, but great for the feeds. She may look like Daniele Donato, but she is a spitfire. I look for her feud with April to keep on going until one of them gets knocked out of the game by the other. She doesn't really like Libra, but we saw her pledge total trust and loyalty to libra after the fight last night. I think that is a fake deal on both their parts. I think Keesha is doing that as a defensive move in the game because she recognizes Libra's ability to lead a herd, and she doesn't want to be in Libra's cross hairs. However, Keesha is closest to Steven and is trying to keep this on the downlow. She also likes Brian, but the whole fight last night was over the fact that she was angry the large herd wasn't trusting her to not flip her vote to save Brian. She is also torn because she likes Renny. This has been a hard first week for her. I didn't pick up on her hatred for April because she managed to keep it masked since she hung around her a lot, and also with Libra and April a lot, these first 2 days.

Libra - we saw how smart she is on the episode last night when she immediately found out about Brian's agenda and almost instantly formulated a counter offensive move, including rallying the whole house to go up to Jerry's and threaten Jerry with his BB life if Jerry didn't put Brian on the block when Jessie used the veto. It was the fastest coupe ever put together in the house and ranks almost up there with Kaysar's "bigger fish" move in season 6. Libra has a group loyal to her in this game and she is very smart. She will be very hard for an HOH to target her to get her out. She would have to be backdoored AFTER some of her allies leave first, because the votes won't be there to get her out pre-jury. She is part of what was described by some in the house as the "oreo" alliance of Libra, Ollie and April. She is closest to them and after the fight last night, those 3 talked for HOURS in the back bedroom. She does not like Brian at all, and knows Brian does not like her, so she is making SURE this boot happens. She spent the first 24 hours of the feeds being like maggie and keeping her motley crew of voters together to keep his boot intact. She constantly approached the peripheral players to this boot to keep them in check (michelle, keesah, memphis and jessie). She knows with her 3 votes (oreos), she has the votes to get her biggest threat out of the house. Libra is very smart, so she can be deadly in this game. Due to her controlling personality, she doesn't have the ability to play like Memphis and keep her control of the game on the down low and undetected.

April - she openly has stated that she really likes black men and only dates black men. Thus she and Ollie were cast to be the obvious showmance this year. They have the serious hots for each other, have been macking on each other at night and hanging around each other all day. So she is really playing a dumbass game by hooking up with a showmance partner early in the game. And by being close to the alpha female, she is an obvious nomination when an HOH wants to break up the oreo alliance. One of those 3 will go in an HOH week and April will probably be the one on the block all week. Ollie or Libra are capable of winning a veto. April was hilarious last night because she was prepared to take keesha out after keesah threw water on her. It was great to watch on the feeds. She spent the next 3 hours crying.

Ollie - Ollie was the catalyst for this first week. He was approached to be in the alpha male alliance early on, but was overcome by the power of some blonde pussy. He kept his alliance on the downlow up until his gals started to freak out after Jessie won the veto. He wanted to reassure them they were safe, and told them about Brian's plan to get Memphis out instead. Rather than outing his hidden alliance and just telling the girls to chill out until the veto is played, and then not worry about being voted out because they would have the votes, he spilled his guts to them about Brian's plan. That set in motion the whole coupe. Also, April then got furious at Ollie for keeping this from her because she didn't want to appear to be a dumbass on tv. (newsflash april, we think you are a dumbass). So Ollie lost his hidden alliance and had to do some serious groveling, all in his first week of the game. Ollie has to win HOH as long as Steven or Dan are in the house because he is a boot target for them

That leaves Brian. Brian only watched season 7, not realizing that was the all stars where experienced BB players came into the house ready for game from the first minute. He also didn't realize these people came into the house with hidden alliances already formed weeks before the game started. So he modeled his play after the wrong season. He could have one this game but he showed his hand too early and lacked Dr Will's patient puppeteer manipulation skills. Instead, Brian used his sales background skills of going for the hard sale and quick close, not realizing that people had way too much time on their hands and would end up talking and comparing notes. You have to give him props for giving us game the first week, but he got himself boxed in to a corner that was completely unrecoverable. He is gone.

This goes back to Memphis. I pegged him as an early boot because he is an arrogant prick and he won the car. However, he has better manipulation skills that the other dumbasses in the house. They haven't figured out that Memphis took this situation and has completely positioned himself to make it so far into the game that before the other peeps realize it, he is at the end. He is counting on the others to take out dan and Steven early, eliminating the other alpha males in the house for him. Then he is counting on the group to self destruct and take each other out, while he sits on the sidelines and waits until few are left. Then he will use his physical prowess to win competitions to make it to the F2. He THREW that veto competition this week. He and Jessie were both going back with the 5th bear (along with Michele), at the same time. Both he and Michele pulled back and let Jessie win it so they didn't have to have a target on their back by using/not using the veto. Memphis didn't even know he was the planned veto replacement at the time the veto game was played. All that drama came down after the fact.

So peeps, this is the status of the game, week 1, prior to the first live show and first boot tonite.

Die, regarding why I was a tad hard on Angie (and I really like her), is that by NOT at least appearing to make nice with the head bitches, she just pushes herself up in the boot order. I wouldn't want to be their friends either, and I am a bit down that the meathead won HOH this week, so we will lose another intelligent guest this week.
