If this works and Memphis doesn't hold a grduge, it will end up not only being the turning point of the season but also end up looking like one of the
greatest moves in the history of the game.
Let's see how Memphis, Keesha, and Renny react to this and how this plays out over the next few days before we jump all over Padre for making a bad move. |

Putting up two of Jerry/Michelle/Ollie was the best move. Barring that, the best was Michelle/Renny or Jerry/Renny.
Renny's a very unstable ally, and seems to love Ollie. If Memphis wins veto, or if Dan wins and uses veto, then the week can be salvaged. Otherwise, I don't see that Renny's going to keep Memphis around. Maybe with a lot of persuading. |

Listen I think most of us in this thread like Memphis cause he is alligned with Padre, but Renny turncoating and voting him out could end up being the best
thing for Dan's game if it was to happen.
It would put all the attention and heat on Renny and makes her an even bigger target then she already is. Dan would be able to slip right back into his position as a loner while everyone else is in disbelief and disarray after a shocking eviction and a Fast Forward night. I am not worried about this week at all.

I don't really see what the big deal with these noms is. If Jerry goes, great! If Memphis goes, who cares? It's not like Memphis is going to win HoH
and protect Dan. He's been pretty fucking useless and Dan would probably be better off without him.

1. Dan had to win the comp once Memphis went down. Dan had to make a deal with Ollie because if Ollie wins, Dan and Memphis go up.
2. If Ollie doesn't ask for Memphis, then Dan has to nominate Renny/Jerry. Either way, one of Dan's allies goes up in order to protect Ollie and Michelle. 3. Did Dan give up too much ? Yep. Will he let Ollie dictate the POV replacement ? No. 4. Will Memphis stay if still on the block on Thursday ? Only if Keesha and Dan convince Renny to help save him. Will Renny save Memphis (for now) ? I say yes, due to the closeness of Renny and Keesha. And I would be VERY surprised if Renny makes a deal with O/M/J and evicts Memphis, going against Keesha (and Dan). 5. If Ollie or Michelle win POV, I don't think they would risk taking Jerry down, since the non-POV player goes up in Jerry's place. Know that ! 6. Dan, Memphis, and Keesha will save Memphis with the POV. Renny might also, with Keesha's urging. 7. Dan has an excellent shot at escaping this HoH with Jerry or Michelle gone, with protection from Keesha, Renny and Memphis in the next HoH comp. 8. Dan is safe this week !!!!! |

Renny cannot be trusted folks. If Dan had put her up this week he would have had to felt pretty confident she would have gone. If not, it would have been a
much bigger issue then ally and buddy Memphis staying, who trusts Dan and throws most comps.

The problem is whether Dan can get Renny to keep Memphis.
IF he can, or if he or Memphis win the veto, then this week won't end badly. Still, I can see why people don't like the nominations. |

From Dan's perspective, he has honored his deal with Ollie by protecting Ollie and Michelle and nominating Memphis. If the nominations stay the same, Dan's word is still considered good and Jerry is booted, with Memphis, Keesha and Renny competing against Ollie and Michelle in a booth HoH comp. If Ollie or Michelle tries to pull a fast one and take Jerry off the block with POV, Dan has every right to nominate the non-POV holder. No matter how pissed Memphis is, Dan gave him the heads up before the nominations and Memphis still needs Dan to get to the end, where Memphis will certainly target Renny over Dan.

If you take the time to analyze the situation there is very little risk in this. Of course the best case scenario would have been Ollie or Michelle up there
with Jerry, but all things considered this works just as well. The only negatives that can come out of it are a)Memphis will lose some trust in Dan, which
honestly I doubt. And even if he does, Memphis needs Dan to make it to the end. And b) Memphis gets the boot, which again, wouldn't be a horrible situation
for Dan as Renny would have to flip to make that happen, thus placing all the blame for the eviction on her lap.

I am sooo terrified for thursday.. but so far this week is good. I just hate how Ollie and Michelle think if they use the POV on Jerry that Dan will not put
the other one up. I mean, SERIOUSLY? Ollie cannot really think that will happen.
As long as someone stable secures the pov, i pray we're good. |

game?

I guess veto is later today.
I hope Dan's plan works out and the veto is used on Memphis. Otherwise, he's got almost a week of making sure Renny and Keesha vote for Memphis to stay, and if veto is used on Jerry, a week of bitching from Ollie/Michelle about Dan not putting up another from his alliance. I don't know if Dan is planning on throwing POV, but I think he'd be better off trying to win. Better to make the tough decision than to have it not made at all. If Dan wins the AC (I think that's probably Jerry's), I wonder if his loved one will tell him he's an idiot for nominating Memphis. I can understand why people want to see Dan pay the price for these nominations, but I'd rather see Memphis/Dan/Keesha/Renny have power than Jerry/Michelle/Ollie, so good luck to the MDKR group.
