Someone said the fact that he was surrounded by idiots made it easier for Dan to get to where he is, but I think it would actually be harder to play with a house full of idiots. It has to wear a person down to have to repeatedly baby sit the dumb asses and go over everything a hundred times to either get your alliance to realize why they need to do what the plan is or prepare for what your competition might do in a given situation. The idiots are scarier because you have no idea at all how they will react or things that might slip out of their mouths by accident that can fuck everything up because they are too stupid to know better. That would be exhausting if you ask me.I agree with you, tdugan. We get this every year, so and so only does well because they're up against idiots. I don't know if there was ever a season where a majority of the cast weren't idiots. This season actually came close, but three of the sane people in the house were kicked out back-to-back. That leaves a jury with a number of delusional or unstable people, and Dan basically had to get those people out of the house. That the likes of April/Ollie/Jerry/Michelle/Jessie didn't get to the end of the game is pretty amazing when you considering where this season was heading a few months ago. And there's a good chance Dan won't win because of the active role he had in their demise, and because even one of his allies (Renny) is very unstable as a vote. Of all the talk from the jury I think I'm most annoyed about Libra bringing up the veto roulette stuff. She was the last one I thought who would get upset about that. She was never all that fond of Dan (she spread rumors about him and trashed him for his car), but I was hoping she would be a more objective juror. Maybe she resents someone else making the big moves. Or maybe I'm wrong and she does vote for him. I hope Dan wins, but Memphis would be a decent winner. I'd feel let down but I never even had much thought Dan would make F2, much less win. When you add in Brian, the AP vote, Jessie, his lead role in the evictions of MOJA, he's been playing for second most of the season. That he has any shot of winning is surprising. At least Dan gets to spend his last few days in the house with a genuine friend he seems to have a lot of fun with and can confide in. Brian left so early and then Dan was left with people who would have meltdowns if he took a dump in the HOH toilet, looked in a mirror or refused a haircut. Dan was able to turn the game around for himself both strategically and socially, and show so many sides of himself. It's pretty remarkable, especially comapred to players in many seasons, who peak early and then slowly fall apart on national TV. I'd love to see Dan win, but whatever happens, he's done very well. |

James Barber wrote:I don't know why you assume that Libra is a bitter Juror just because she asked Dan about the roulette. It seems a perfectly valid question to me -- it was a bizarre move from someone I think Libra believes to be a good player, and I think it's entirely possible that she simply wanted to hear from Dan why he did it. It could even have been to help him, by giving him the opportunity to explain his strategy behind the move, to show the other Jurors he didn't do it just to mock Ollie and Michelle in front of millions of people -- that he actually thought it out and believed that there was a strategic advantage to playing it that way. It may not have worked out the way he had envisioned, but it was just a game move, no malice intended. |

I don't know why you assume that Libra is a bitter Juror just because she asked Dan about the roulette.I'm just not sure why she would ask when it didn't have much to do with her time in the game. Then Dan looked at her photo on the memory wall and said she'd be voting for Memphis. If she was only asking for game reasons I don't think he would have said that. |

I don't mean to make it sound like Libra has no right to vote how she wants; Memphis was a good player too. I was just surprised she would vote for him
because he coasted while she and Dan paid the price for saving him. Then I remembered how she felt about Dan while they were in the house, and a Memphis vote
made more sense for me. She may see Memphis as the player she thought she was going to be. I think she would be rewarding less strong gameplay, but she may
want to be seen as siding with the more subtle player since that's how she saw herself.
I will be disappointed if she votes for Memphis, but of course that's up to her, and I do like Memphis. It's my own issue because I had assumed she was going to vote a different way. |

One thing to also remember is that almost every night after the jury questions the hamsters ALL think they lost and for the most part (at least in my opinion so don't anybody kick me in the face) the better gamer has won. That's true. I had always assumed this jury probably wouldn't be in Dan's favor, but there's always a chance. I didn't know until a few days ago that Dan is from around the same area as one of my all time favorites, Nicole. I wonder if any other BB players are from around that area. |

of all people that cant be pissed about roulette its libra lol..she wasnt there and it hurt the person that had her evicted.
from the first jury house segment it seemed like libra was shocked when she said "father dan!" but in a good way. also jerry seemed very upset with memphis but i just cant see him voting for judas |

I loved Nicole. My favorite F2 ever. I really cannot see anything ever topping those two on their season. Brilliant.

I'm actually glad she was the one to ask about it. I was hoping someone would so that he could explain it. Dan told Memphis a day or two ago that he had
a reason for doing it, but he didn't elaborate. If he explained it well enough, it might take some of the bitterness from Ollie, Michelle and possibly
Renny.

Brilliant.I had the feeds for BB2 and they were so insanely different from the show, but Nicole was feeds gold. I loved seeing her pull herself back from the brink of a sure eviction, and then cringed as she threw the game away for a series of psychological breakdowns. She was also hilarious (sometimes intentionally). They don't make BB personalities better than that. My favorite part was the fake teary goodbye messages. |

Ok, while I've hated Dan/Memphis more than anyone from the beginning and still do (hence me not watching anything but eviction episodes for the past
monthish), I will say this...
Why do I find Dan getting hotter and hotter with every day? When the season started, I didn't find him attractive at all, but the more arrogant he gets, the hotter he gets. I remember him telling a story about how it was awkward working as a teacher at a school with girls because they would all stay after class to tell him how "fcking hot" (Dan's words). Can't blame them anymore. Memphis on the other hand is still pudgy as ever..so rooting for Dan I guess. And the school he teaches at is right by me, so yay. |
