I could see if he was from the boondocks and/or over 50, but he's not, so his use of the word "colored" to describe a black person is at best, strange.

By the way, is 'colored' truly accepted as a derogatory comment by EVERYONE? I don't remember when it became incorrect to say that. So is it Black, or Afro-American to be correct? I 'm just saying it isn't what was said as much as how it was said. Also, I saw earlier in the evening Libra was being a bitch to Steven. The anger may have grown from that incident. Either way, this might be the chance for those with racist, agist (Jessie), sexist, or homophobic (Ollie indicates that he thinks Steven will burn in hell for who he is) leanings to actually meet and grow from knowing someone. Wouldn't it be cool if these opposites cooled some of their ignorance of each other, and maybe Big Brother wont be totally about personal destruction this season, and maybe about personal growth???? ... not bloody likely, but 'I HAVE A DREAM!'.

As for the comments, I don't know, just hearing the word "colored" makes me think of the deep south during the time of segregation. The old guy, the gay guy, the black one, etc. are all not the best ways of describing people, but colored just has a deeper wrongness to it, in my opinion.

It was obvious everyone already knows. Plus someone reported on the feeds today or last night that someone was telling Steven that they already knew before he told them, or something along those lines. I love him. AND ANYONE WHO DOESN'T GETS BANNED! (or not ... whatever ... but you're totally dead to me, bitches)
