I agree that he began his negative edit last night, especially with the "burn in hell" comment, but I don't think Grodner wants the majority of
viewers to hate on the old man. She knows how tough it is for some people on the outside world when the show is over.

I think some of us would see a positive edit even if they hired an old man in a wig to make up scenes of Jerry murdering the entire house. I know I feel that
way sometimes, just because he's such a huge asshole on so many different levels. There's also the hesitation they may feel about giving a negative
edit to an old man who was probably supposed to be one of their more popular players.
Since Dan has done nothing to him (beside not vote the way he wanted) and has said very little about him behind his back, and since Jerry decided to make a fool of himself at the veto, then hopefully they have no choice but to make him look terrible. I'm just not confident in him getting the edit he deserves. He has such a knack of alienating anyone and everyone, all while being convinced he's a flawless human being. Maybe this little stunt will at least get him out before F4. |

touch with the world she is.) Obviously, his edit started changing for the worse when it became clear that nobody likes him. But, oh, she certainly tried the

To add in with the Dick comment... Dick was an asshole and he let everyone know that.
Jerry is a fucking loser and asshole only to Dan's face but then pretends to love everyone else and then talks shit about them, etc. Dick wasn't a hypocrite. Jerry is. And then regarding Jerry and Grodner... They hate April. They don't really care much about Ollie. So, he is being punished with a bad edit for helping out April and going against their faves (Dan and Keesha). |

Dick also had a story (reconciliation with daughter). I guess they could try to make some story about Jerry's desperate need to be liked by Ollie
(they're so different, yet they're cool!), but it wouldn't exactly make riveting TV. Jacare15 is right, Jerry is helping the people in the house
that the show probably hates.
I wonder if Jerry deliberately targets those he thinks might make good TV (funny how he started in on Keesha after she stole the show Saturday night), so he can be the star. |

i don't believe he thinks that clearly, JB. he was really excited about this speech because he knew it would be on TV. he said he didn't sleep last
night because he was working on it.
now his speech is over, it WILL be on TV and he ought to be able to figure out it wasn't the hit he thought it would be since pretty much nobody but ollie's spoken to him since. he's talked before about having fan clubs and shit after the show. i think it kills him that he's not the center of attention with the people in there. he must suspect he isn't the 'star' he expected to be. |
