The nearest important city is five hours away (Chicago or Minneapolis, take your pick). The most fun you can have on a Friday night is going to Wal-Mart. And everyone here is a bitter asshole. My single, weeklong trip to New York City contained more meetings with fun, happy, "real" people than 20 years here soz.
I view a real person as someone with a hardworking middle class job, preferably with a family to support who you wouldn't see on a tv show. Basically the further away you get from a mactor the realer you are.Can I ask some questions?? What exactly do you mean by "real person"? Is it a prerequisite for them to be "average looking" or set away from major cities?
ETA: I mean, I guess you could consider "bitter asshole" to equate with real, but my point is, they're not any different from mactors. My boss at the FREAKIN CEMETERY is as delusional and obsessed with himself as, say, BB10 Jessie. Kidding not.
