Danielle - America's Next Top Model 6




ANTM is usually one of the more predictable shows. You can see the winner coming from a mile away. However Danielle's win legitimately surprised me. I felt Joanie was the most deserving one, if you look at her portfolio, it's one of the best in the history of the show. But I figured if she was gonna lost it would be to the OTT villain Jade. Never did i think Danielle stood a chance. Danielle took decent pictures, and she had a good personality. But in my eyes, she is no way top model material. And her career since the show has proven that. Forgettable at best

Team Genius - Treasure Hunters




Keeping with the surprise winner theme, I was legitimately dumbfounded when Team Nerd won this show. The Amazing Race has taught us that the fit alpha-males always win. And Team Genius was up against not 1 but 2 teams comprised of strictly that. So I was fairly certain they would come in a distant third. But what this show did right, unlike TAR, it relied more on smarts than strictly being strong. After a agonizing final clue, team genius figured it out and came out as the winners of Treasure hunters. A very underrated show that more people should have watched.

Melissa O'Neil - Canadian Idol 3




I went from being completely meh on Melissa and feeling that Ashley Leiato was far superior, to actually quite enjoying her and rooting for her in the final 4. She was very bubbly and sweet, she had a decent voice, nothing too incredible but way better than someone the others that season. Most of the people who made the finals that year were really awful, aside from Scarfboy who is one of the greatest Canadian Idol contestants of all time. But aside from him, Melissa was probably the next best option...so im happy she won.

Glenn Stearns - The Real Gilligan's Island 1




If you are one of the many who didn't watch The Real Gilligan's Island cause it was a ridiculous premise, well you missed out. Cause it really was a little gem of a show that had more to do with strategy then it did a black and white sitcom. Glenn Stears wasn't just the best player in this season, but perhaps one of the best players in reality tv history. He played the game nonstop, and with the help of his wife steamrolled to the finals. The quintessential moment, and something not seen before or after, was Mr. Stearns bribing Marry Ann Kate (Janet Koth's daughter) and getting her to vote out Gilligan Chris. He guaranteed her a job when she got home if she would do it, and Kate needing the money sold out her closest ally for the job. It was brilliant and hilarious to watch. A guy who was worth like 200 million dollars was willing to do anything to win. That is a true player

Jordin Sparks - American Idol 6




The winner of the worst season in American Idol history. As you all know, I hate the black belting divas who sing Whitney Houston constantly, and that's basically all season 6 was, so I couldn't stand it. But of all the females (minus Gina who was <3) Jordin was the best option. She at least sang some contemporary songs compared to Melinda and Lakisha who were both stuck in the 60's. The fact she was only 16 was quite remarkable, and she was likable and sweet most of the time, so I was ok with her and loved that she outlasted both of those two. However, I do feel Blake should have beaten her at the end. He was truly unique and a act like idol had never seen before, and I was quite distraught when he didn't get the victory. However seeing as he has flopped and Jordin has went on to have some success, I guess it was the right choice.
