Thanks Beatles. I guess it worked, except now all the font is huge for some reason. But it's not a huge deal.

I disagree (think it wouldn't be bad in another season), but in that situation, especially after the tribal swap to save Lex and Kathy the previous round, it seemed to fishy to me. Also, there was a gender inbalance. It was a 5:4::girls:guys ratio.

Hoping I can get the next three up tonight, but I'm not positive. Any guesses to the spoilers?

30. Merge is at Exile Island

(This picture has nothing to do with the twist, it just scared the hell out of me.)

At the final ten of Fiji, the producers finally did something that wasn't that bad. They told both Ravu and Moto to go to Exile Island with nothing there. No instructions, no warnings, no heads up, which was a great what the hell moment for the players. Eventually, they were all told to head to the luxerious Moto where, guess what, everything was taken away. We were finally playing a normal game of survivor (except for the fact that every person from new Moto was in better shape because they were well fed...). I mean, this twist didn't exactly play a part of the season or even much of the episode, but I enjoy these types of moments where the players have no idea what is happening. Everyone was confused and ticked off when they finally reached the camp especially right after Mookie's quote. We also got some funny quotes about Cassandra not being able to handle living on a real Survivor tribe, which is just ridiculous. Why did she sign up to play anyways if she freaking expected to live in luxery the entire time?

This isn't really a bad twist, and we're at the point where I, overall, like the rest of them for one reason or another. It just can't make it any higher because it was just correcting a huge mistake of the haves vs haves not twist.































29. Jury Competes in the Final 4 Immunity Challenge


Seasons: Pearl Islands

Not the purple rock yet, but this is also one that people might think deserves to be lower. Yeah, the jury was fed, and they were able to work together making it near impossible for one of the players to win the challenge. Even with that, though, I enjoyed it. This challenge was much more interesting than any other quiz over trivia if just because Fairplay was the only one to get the shark attack question right, but it was also good to see the jury interacting with the players in some way. Also, I'm still waiting for a season where the twist is that there's no individual immunity challenges. It would change the dynamics completely as some annoying douche like Ozzy or Terry couldn't make the jury, and people would be voting with no thoughts about challenge threats. I know they would never do it because some casual fans only watch for the challenges, but I can dream.

Also, I might be biased in favor of the twist because I was rooting for Fairplay, and Darrah, easily the dullest member of the final 4, somehow went home over him.



































28. Two HII's. One at each camp.

(The spoiler two for two meant two idols-two seasons for anyone that cares).

Here was a twist that was extremely entertaining, but I can't rank it any higher just because it's the HII. In Fiji, after one of the worst twists ever, Sylvia found out that the idol was back at camp. It also meant that there was not only one, but two idols in play. At first I was excited because the idols had alot less power, but when I heard that there would be two of them, I was a little agitated. Luckily, it did bring us entertainment in the very third episode where everyone on Earth was praying that Sylvia had found it. There was alot of suspense as something like this important hadn't been cut off since Guatemala. Unfortunately, she didn't find it, went home, and the season went down the drain. There were some other entertaining moments from Fiji though that were involved 100% because of this twist like Yau finding the idol and planting a fake one that could actually pass off as one (which we didn't know at the time what I bad idea it was). Also, Lisi freaking out, telling Alex and Ed about the idol, them telling Mookie, the three waking up before Dreamz and Lisi were awake, finding it with somehow Mookie getting to keep it, and ending a great scene with Lisi's quote above. We, later, had one of the best blindsides and reactions ever when Ed left because of a stupid move by Mookie that only took part because of an idol on each beach. Unfortunately, the rest of the season played out predictibly with the idol only getting a chance to piss me off (by being rehidden, and Stacy getting booted because of it).

In China, they brought it back except with the kidnapping twist instead of Exile. No one knew about the idols that were right in front of their faces, but people, one by one, were getting clues to it. Eventually it led up to the great scene where Frosti accidently helped find it, and James ending up with both of them. I was turned off by Todd freaking out and telling everyone on the tribe about it because it took a greater spotlight than it should have, but James leaving was a great episode of stupid play all around. I still don't fault James for not playing it, and I probably wouldn't have either. It was just great to see everyone screw up thanks to the idol (Erik not voting for Todd, Todd not voting for PG, James for not playing them, Amanda for telling PG, Denise for agreeing with it, so basically everyone except PG and Courtney played it wrong).

There was definitely alot of entertainment here, but again, with Stacy leaving, rehidden of the idol, and it being a bigger part of both seasons than the actual players are the reasons it is this low.

So the possible options are Men vs. Women, Clothes on Their Backs, All-Stars Return, Three Tribes, Everyone Starts Together As One Tribe, Hike Through the Jungle, and Fans vs. Favorites (I don't know if any of those have been listed yet). If I had to pick to of those that sucked the most, I would pick Clothes on Their Backs (only because it gave us such "great" moments as Lill doing challenges in her panties, Denise doing challenges in her underwear, and Angie doing challenges in her underwear) and Fans vs. Favorites (because it was basically like the Haves/Have-Nots twist, only with returning players.)

Add all the tiebreakers at TC that carried into a new season, the race for immunity in Palau/Micronesia, and I think you're good.

And cat, Clothes on your back is the same because that's how the twist was started. Get off the boat with what you're wearing and go barter happened right then and there. That's why Rupert stealing shoes was such a huge deal.
