I've observed that Renny is kind of sensitive.
Have you noticed how pissed she gets when Keesha tells her she reminds her of Bette Midler? That's why I think Renny would hate a comedic one. (Not that you always get whatcha want) |

So the more I think about it the more I decide that Renny is inextricably linked with not only NOLA but Mardi-Gras. She's the "dahlin from
N'awlin" and moreso she embraces the whole "Laissez les bons temps rouler!" philosophy

When I threw out Blanche Dubois I almost added: Unstable, delusional, and vulnerable Southern belle heroine beginning to show signs of her own

blanche was great though. she had trunks full of finery and jewelry and shit. i like it, but only the vivien leigh version. i even think renny would kind of
like it.

how about shirley maclaine in 'steel magnolias?' a lot of that took place in a beauty shop, too. i'm looking for pics. she's a redhead, she
was feisty and very southern.
