I predict the Fake Show getting buried in 3s. They don't match up well with the Magic esp. if Jameer Nelson plays.

Yeah its his love for NY that makes him a Yankee fan. Must be his love of Dallas that makes him a Cowboy fan. That or he is a front running idiot who couldnt
face the media after losing.

I give LeBron a pass for pulling a Detroit Piston on the post game handshake. But blowing off the media after he's had time to cool off after the loss?
Thumbs down.

Wait did I miss where Kobe has won a championship without Shaq? Has that happened yet? Magic in 6.

this is the first time LeBron did this so I'm willing to give him a pass. If it happens again, then he deserves all the criticism.

Shaq's Lakers could be mentioned as one of the great teams. Kobe's Lakers can only be described as losing by 40 while getting bounced in game 6 in
Boston. We still laugh about that.

30 finals appearances? for the love of Johan (God), can the Lakers please stop making it to the finals? It's getting embarrassing already.Even more embarrassing is their losing record in the finals. |

Pierce and the Big Wimp KG can't wait to drive home from the golf courses and watch the finals.
so that's what you meant DeBrun. Moses was a bit before my time. Shaq's Lakers, twista? yeah cause Shaq won those champ/ships on his own. wasn't like Kobe averaged 25+ ppg during those title runs. nah you know what us New Yorkers still laugh about? the Greatriots *18-1 season. DeadTwista wrote: |

omg geneokerlund27 is so torn on who to cheer for in the nba finals
on one hand, you have the los angeles lakers, who ruined geneokerlund27's dreams in 2004 (although it is embarassing to lose two games to a team who had darrick martin playing 30+ mpg since both hudson and cassell were injured) and unlike rupert boneham geneokerlund27 was not able to achieve his dreams the next year, plus if geneokerlund27 was alive in the 1950s he'd prob hate them today for leaving mpls (btw geneokerlund27 drove by the old arena on friday =o) on the other hand, the magic and the timberwolves came into the league the same year the magic have won the lottery THREE TIMES D=, once when the wolves had the best chance at #1 for a young man named shaquille o'neal, another when the magic had the worst odds at #1 and still won it, and now firefox just crashed when geneokerlund27 was typing this but when he clicked restore session most of the post was still available! yw |

Anybody catch Wojnarowski's article blastin King James? http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/news?slug=aw-lebron060109&prov=yhoo&type=lgns
LeBron doesn't want to win more than Michael #%*#*! did, but #%*#*! could stop and shake a winner's hand. Magic Johnson and Larry Bird could, too. Julius Erving did. Isiah Thomas led a walkout after losing to the Chicago Bulls after winning two NBA titles, but Joe Dumars never followed him. He stayed and shook #%*#*!'s hand, the way #%*#*! had always shook his when the Pistons had beaten him. |

unlike LeBron, Isiah didn't shake a winner's hand cause he was an egotistical asshole who was jealous of MJ being a hero in his hometown.
Every one of these columnists/analysts love the Lake Show to win this series. These genuises were wrong about the Cavs and are now jumping on the Lakers bandwagon. Frauds. Orlando isn't receiving the respect they deserve. Magic won a gm 7 on the road against the defending champs (I know KG was out but its never easy winning an elimination game in Boston) and they dominated a series against a 66-win team. The 2-3-2 format helps the Lakers since Orlando will have to win the series in LA. Since '95 there has only been one finals series that has gone the distance so I think we're due for another one. I'll say Lakers in 7 with Kobe's greatness ultimately being the difference. |
