That, and the date something goes public are two different things...Not taking up for the Bag 'O Dirt, Just sayin. I seriously doubt he actually faught in Korea. He was only 17 when it broke out, and 20 when it ended. He might have joined up and went right on over, but I would like to see some proof. He could very well have seen action in Vietnam.

i believe he was in korea--he probably did a year when he was 18 or something. my ex-husband was and he's only 2 years older than jerry (and 20 years older than me, thank you.) he would have been too old for vietnam.

we actually did used to fight wars where people didn't go over again and again and again---they went once and their part was over.

i don't think he was a colonel though. THAT'S what i want to see proof of.
