I don't think it's going to catch on like EVOO, but it is just as annoying. Other than that, I kind of like her. She's very good at keeping up the chatter while she's cooking.

From her commercial, I didn't think she'd be able to carry it off. It seems like they're rolling out a whole new bunch of shows...I guess because some of the other personalities are getting real big? Sunny Anderson is fun...But "How'd That Get On My Plate" seems to be "Unwrapped" meets "Secret Life Of..." And it appears they've passed off "Road Tasted" to the Neelys and took it away from those Dean hunks. I always have wanted to order some of the stuff from "Road Tasted", especially the featured foods on their pie episode. And "Big Bite" has some good stuff...but you know Guy must have the worst farts ever. And I wish they'd make new episodes of "Unwrapped." Seriously, if nothing is on TV, Food Network is my default network.

I saw an episode where he dipped his hand into the pancake batter of some diner. I can't stand how he's always slurping down some greasy, dripping mess in the KITCHEN of the establishment. shudders ALTON LOVE though.

BTW, I fricking hate the Challenges. They have gotten so cheesy and Unwrapped-like. Way too OTT. Remember when FN used to show the Bocuse d'Or? Now THAT was a challenge!

Yuku totally sucks for taking al away. Iron Chef America sucks big time. Can't even begin to compare to the original Iron Chef. They don't get it, at all. It's like Iron Chef in a parallel universe where the evil Captain Kirk lives.

She has to have center stage and over crowd her husband and his brothers. She has nothing at all to give to the show but put on her Spice Fairy bit and I just want to puke! I would love just once to be on that show and say, Shut The ---- Up! I will not watch the shows. I will go online though to get the recipes. I hope the Food Network picks up on this. I just saw that they picked up a show with the both of them traveling across the US for recipes. If I had that hornet screwing with me I'd swat her so bad she wouldn't see it coming. Really, The Food Network needs to examine closely what they're putting out. It isn't good at all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Posts: 1 (08/30/08 1:12 AM) Reply Quote More Recent Posts Message Connection Block Invite	hey y'all! first off i wanna thank you for your support. it's really hard comin' up with these recipes with jamie and bobby all the time. second, did y'all see me catch my oven mitt on fire on yesterday's episode? i can't believe they left that in the show. you'd a thunk I was drunk! speaking of drinking, y'all didn't hear this from me but i think that sandra lee has a serious problem. i mean a very serious problem! the other day we were all at this conference thing with the different producers, and when i looked over at her at the long meeting table thing, she had her hand in the shape of a hand puppet and was asking it questions. i didn't see any liquor nearby, but you can never know what that sandra lee. i did not check her purse. anyway, enough gossip y'all! here's a recipe for y'all! today i'm gonna tell y'all about my aunt gertie's favorite dessert. just before she died, she used to make these for jamie all the time and he'd be bouncin' all over the house like a kid in a candy store, y'all! i call them aunt gertie's pasta pockets y'all! now you're gonna need a few things before we get started: - 1 lbs lasagna noodles - 2 cups of granulated sugar - 1 cup tomato sauce - 7 egg yolks - 1 3/4 semisweet chocolate chips - 3 cups of butter - 1/2 cup butter 1. cook the lasagna noodles, y'all for 12 minutes 2. melt all of the butter under a low heat. 3. slowly add chocolate and stir lightly y'all 4. once you do that y'all you add the sugar and mix it y'all 5. now you add the rest of the butter 6. mix the eggs until it's a paste y'all 7. put the paste in the noodles, and make rolls y'all 8. now pour the tomato sauce on it y'all 9. bake at 425 degrees for 30 minutes y'all 10. lemon slices are optional i hope y'all enjoy it! jamie did! oh my aunt was quite the lady too y'all! night! y'all
