I just thought I'd tell you people YOU OFFERED ME NO USEFUL HELP.
I printed up a manual I found.....but no such luck with an exploded assembly diagram. |

Next time you undergo a task of this nature, label and number each piece as you take it apart.

One refractor diagram should pretty much work for any refractor. Next time keep track of where everything goes while you're dismantling it.

I'm just ever so grateful that Weems isn't a real doctor. Can you imagine him labeling body parts as he
operates so he knows where each one goes when he puts them back?
Hey, Weems, I'm thinking of building one of these in my backyard. Can you come over and help?

westernbulldogs is wise... I bet he could put the damn thing back together blindfolded. DIAGRAM? For a fucking telescope?
jesus. what a wimp, weems turned out to be. |

Hey Weems, I am very disappointed that you have not let us know if you put your filthy telescope back together correctly.
If you did, maybe you can come over to Chicago and help me build my telescope. I'd be ever so grateful. Your friend, WB1 |

heh
I still have it all set up 75% assembled on my kitchen table.... ....all the remaining parts will be assembled back as I pulled it apart in an organized manner. Trust me! Soon...............Weems will be looking for the lunar lander. :c ) |

Pics please. Really.
We've talked about this Weems! Pictures make a thread you know. |

heh...I could take pics!
Mwuaaahaaa...tis almsot completely back together and spotless. I shall soon see where Neil Armstrong pissed on the moon. The last pieces are like a Rubic's Cube.......it seemed simple enough when I undid them. :c ? |

Haaaa DOUBTERS!
It's back together again. I owe it all to some fine pictures I found on an EBay ad.

With that scope you should be able to see the Galilean moons, perhaps bands on Jupiter. That's the only planet that's out all night right now. Mars and
Saturn are low in the west after sunset and will be visible for an hour or two before setting; I doubt you'd see Martian ice caps but Saturn's rings
should come through nicely. Mercury could be visible at sunrise for a few days. The Moon won't be much more spectacular than viewing it through good
binoculars but its features will look really neat at the edges and the terminator where the third dimension is most apparent.

|||
Trixie Delight |
|||

Pfft. That 3rd dimension can only be seen if he's using German lenses.
Who's watching Earth: A Biography tonight? Besides me. |
|||
Dr Weems |
|||
|
They say you can see the moon craters very detailed and the rings of Saturn.
It's not bad....nothing spectacular. I'm gonna try it tonight. |

WHy clean it? It's still good enough to look in the neighbor's windows when they're threading each other's rings of Uranus with strange
orbiting movements..
|
|||
Dr Weems |
|||
|
Ummm....I seriously don't even think there are any windows I could look through if I wanted to.
|
|||

I'm still waiting to hear if you can see Uranus with that thing.

I'm about to go out and look at the moon.
Miss Universe is boring. |

You do realize that you could've bought one of those shitty little 60mm refractors off Craigslist for under $50, right?
